Finally got a chance to use it and the whole thing exploded, out the back and all the screw on parts in the front. I was grinding thin strips of pork tenderloin and the whole kilo was full on tiny metal pieces so GARBAGE!!A waste of money and time for me. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER! Kraft dinner for us tonight.

My mom had same kind of meat grinder for over 50!!! years. It worked. always. for over 50 years.This product did not work the first time and never will.It's very apparent that ZERO effort was put into quality:the body is all rough with means that after sand-casting nobody took a few minutes to polish the rough edges.The cutting knife is NOT SHARPENED AT ALL. Not that it just was not sharpened enough. No! there is zero evidence of ANY EFFORT to sharpen it. It is also rough, not polished after sand-casting.The feet are not designed well as they just dig their heels into the counter with provides ZERO grip unless you want to damage the counter.The metal rusted immediately even though I followed the instructions and oiled it.Anyway. Don't buy it. The crappiest crap. See the pictures.

This grinder is acceptable for small residential uses but the quality is mediocre and the food to grind has to be hand fed and pushed into the auger. The table top clamp moves and slips making grinding and turning the grinding handle more difficult. The product was received coated in industrial machine oil requiring extensive cleaning before it could be used for food.

Pimer día de recibido y lo primero que veo es que dónde va la palanca no enbona!, Antes de usarlo ya lo había pensado regresar total lo usé como pude con un desarmador en ves de palanca y el moledor se estanca muy rápido y sale carne muy lento, objetivo ahorrar tiempo en las mañanas para hacerme de comer, al usarlo me di cuenta de que no podira conseguir mi objetivo, la carne se estanca por el diseño de cuchillas que tiene tienes que desarmar quitar todo a su paso y volver a armar es una lata, total tarde 1 hora en moler 400g para que salieran 250g de molida su diseño con demasiados espacios hace que la carne mitad de la carne consiga esconderse en tantos espacios, el residuo de 150g se siente a la hora de lavarlo hablo del moledor de talla 12 decepción 0 estrellas

There was some break-in material in the meat as the metal parts rubbed together. I expected this, all metal machines need a break-in period. Since I bought this to make dog food, not a problem.I also froze the meat first as I’ve read this helps, it does.

Absolutely terrible purchase. Very cheaply made - feels very rough and unfinished. And faulty. The metal is rough in your hands. The clamp where you attach the grinder to your tabletop is not very deep, so for my rounded countertop, the grinder kept falling off because it could barely attach onto the counter top. The part where the handle attaches to the grinder is also cheaply made; there is just a small indent in the piece to attach the handle. Took a while to attach. Overall, just feels super cheap, brash and slapped together. The metal clamps scratched my granite counter top. I’m pretty upset about that. There’s also a very low clearance in the front of the grinder where the ground meat comes out. You can’t put a bowl there to catch the ground meat; only a flat plate. Which really is a bummer, because a bowl catches splatters better than a flat plate.Overall, terrible product.Highly unsatisfied. Save yourself the headache of faulty craftsmanship and do not buy this piece of trash.

sec seconds into my first use the handle striped, its a very bad design could be a lot better if the made the flat parts flat. I made it work i broke a small metal washer in half and pounded it on, only down side to that fix is you have to pound it back off to clean it.

The cromed cast iron is very strong. I soaked in soap then oiled it with olive oil, all parts seem well made. It has four legs now, apparently the original two leg and clamp model that was weaker has been upgraded. I did have to run a knife on the two dies to trim sharp metal off from the machining process. Also the metal dies are just steel so they will rust if you dont oil them with olive oil after each use. For the price, its a home run
