The grinder is well constructed and does a great job. I've had way too much fun using it!

This product would not grind up turkey breast. I made sure it had no ligaments and it was in little slices and it took me 1 hr and 45 mins to do 7 patties. Not pleased at all! What a disappointment!

This grinder is wonderful! I ground 40 pounds of pork shoulder with my KitchenAid and this attachment the day I received it without any issues. The instructions for setup are very clear. I love the idea that because it is stainless steel it is dishwasher safe, but the purist in me makes me hand wash it anyway. It is heavy, so I do believe that it will outlast this old lady, so one of my kids will likely be happy to inherit it! Even the hamburger press is stainless steel! If you are looking for a workhorse that will last for a long time this is a great choice. I do recommend it.

Used to make ground meat from Chuck Roll.Works very well, and does a great job. Attaches to mixer and has three different disks for texture. Was impressed with the quality and stainless steel finish, as well as how it works.Am glad we got this for our Kitchen Aide mixer, rather than a stand alone grinder.Excellent!

I like this attachment, I am using this attachment with a Hobart N50 mixer. first time I used it I noticed that the locking screw became loose I had to continuously needed to tighten the screw. I did notice that the body of the grinder had a lot of play with the insertion side of the mixer and I was wondering why it was so loose. Turns out that the tapered shaft of the grinder is too long and rubbing against the mixture’s driveshaft.I have filed down the shaft and now it is not rubbing against the mixers driveshaft and it is fitting very tight with the mixer. Also, I did have to move the index indentation on the grinder’s shaft. Now the grinder dose not come loose at all after grinding 10lbs of meat.Other than this it works great.

Bought this to replace my aluminum version. The grinding plates that the blade rides against are cheap stamped steel. Not milled. This means they aren’t perfectly flat so the blades do not cut very well because there’s a gap. There was also end play on the auger shaft, no matter how much you tightened it down, so again, there was a gap between the blades and the plate, so it wouldn’t cut the meat.I had to do sand down the threaded body of the grinder to get the hand nut to tighten down far enough to tighten the gap. I also had grinding plates from my last grinder that fit, so I used those.I needed the grinder and didn’t have time to return it, so I modified it instead of returning. That being said, it’s pretty poorly made and I wouldn’t buy it again.

I decided to try this grinder before buying a more expensive one for my deer processing. It has performed very well and exceeded my expectations. It's easy to use and clean, keeping me from getting another item to take up room on the countertop. The grind consistency is excellent, and I have used all the different options with no issues. The sausage attachments work great as well. It's well worth the price.
