Great attachment, we use this to buy roast on sale then grind it into hamburger and freeze it for whatever calls for ground meat, not only is it economical but better quality ground beef, this is worth buying.

Produto chegou antes do prazo, porém em várias resenhas que vi e tbm comentários a embalagem era outra. Chegou bem embalado porém numa caixa bem simples e os discos dentro de um envelope tipo carta. Material não é muito robusto, achei até meio frágil. Confesso que me decepcionei um pouco com a qualidade,mas como ainda não testei não posso falar muito. Depois de testar volto pra reavaliar.

This worked great until my wife put it in the dishwasher then it became black and I couldn’t use it anymore without ruining the meat. It is not dishwasher safe it removes the finish and will turn everything that it touches black after that.It works great for the price just be sure to hand-wash or buy one with higher quality materials.

My original kitchen aide unit (over 20 years old at this point, and still going strong) came with several attachments, including a meat grinder. The auger/worm drive was plastic, fit poorly, and wouldn’t even grind bologna. This thing zipped right thru a pound of bologna for my wife’s bologna salad, then a bunch of hard boiled eggs for her egg salad, and finally 1.5 lbs of pork butt to mix with ground beef (great for stretching the insanely expensive stuff). No stoppages at all (of course I cleaned everything out between the different foods).I have a large commercial meat grinder for big batches of ground meat (we make our own all natural dog and cat food), but this thing is great for small batches of stuff.Yes, compared to a dedicated meat grinder, the parts are thin and lightweight. But for small batches for meals, it works great, and seems as if it will really last if you take care of it and don’t abuse it.TIP: put the entire assembled grinder in the freezer for an hour or 2 before grinding. This helps reduce sticking and mushing of items being run through it. I also put a small drizzle of coconut or avocado oil down the chute first. Also, dense meats like pork need to have the thick fat cap trimmed off - not entirely, but thick portions of fat will bind and gum up the works (this is more a function of the motor in the kitchen aid than it is this meat grinder attachment).
