When my feeding tube was put in, the nurse said use a bowl and a feeding syringe or the gravity bags. But that was not practical and it was messy when I had to feed myself on the go (in the hospital for treatment, running errands with the family, in the car, etc). One day I landed in the ER and they gave me this when I asked for a cup and syringe to put some water in. This is amazing! First it's all conveniently packaged in one compact little tray, sealed, that you can just throw in your backpack without taking much space or weight. When you open it, you'll find the typical syringe, but it had the right tip for my feeding tube (as opposed to the courtesy ones I had shipped home, which needed the cone adapter). It comes with a disposable bottle that is just right for the amount of food or water you need, and the size of the syringe, very convenient and clean and easy to use. It comes with a waterproof mat that you put over your lap or belly, so if anything spills it's not all over your clothes. And when you're done, you just pack it all up inside and throw away, because you know how those syringes are really no good for more than one or two feedings before the piston starts degrading and failing and becoming impossible to use. Live saver and life changer. Love them.

I do a lot of gardening and have chickens, etc.You will get cuts and this will definitely work for cleaning them out

I was able to use but syringe don't reach down lo enough into bottle. This leave a good amount of water unusable. Medline is better but if a family caregiver I can't order so I will make do for now!
