This kit is a fantastic value for those new to boxing or looking to enhance their home workout routine. It's user-friendly, effective, and comes with all the necessary components to get started. Just be prepared to use your own pump for inflation. The included air pump is not very effective. I found it easier to use my own pump to inflate the bag properly.

As a cardio workout, speedbag work is great. Hitting things is also a great way to relief stress as law enforcement takes a dim view of punching people in the face as an alternative. This speedbag will have you punching, ducking, bobbing and weaving to work up a sweat.

The rope and plastic attachment are not quality and do not keep the ball at the level you adjust it to. We removed the plastic adjustment pcs and just tied it up top and to the water filled base. Not worth the price in quality overall but we are using it.

I'm gonna start with the short version: If you're just looking for something to hit around the house with non-permanent setup (good thing for apartment people), go ahead and get it. The price is good and it's held up to a few good sessions so far with no sign of bursting, tearing, etc.On to details as to why I took stars off:-The bag was lopsided. When fully inflated, it isn't spherical like the picture, nor is it oblong--it just has a deformed bladder. Not the biggest deal, but not ideal either.-The gloves are bad. They feel cheaply made and awkwardly sized; I have wide hands and they were still too wide. You'll probably end up throwing them away anyway.-The pump is cheap but I happen to have a nice pump with a hose that makes it easier to access the needle with, and it pumps air in on both upwards and downward motions, where as the one that comes with this does not. Nice of them to include it though if you don't have one already.-The doorframe brace swings, no matter how tight I tighten it. I would prefer if it was stationary and only the cord & ball moved.-For doorframes, the cord length isn't ideal unless you're really, really short haha. You can adjust this, of course, but the issue is the proportion so in a doorframe, the cord is short on the top and much longer on the bottom. Not a dealbreaker in my opinion though.I felt three stars was fair since I do like it and needed something that came with a brace so that I wouldn't need to drill into my ceiling to hang it. Again, if your bottom line is that you want a double-end bag you can put up and take down without drilling into your home, I'd say go for it.

Great value, quick set up, durable design. I have mine set up very loose and it's very quick on the recoil exactly how I want it to be, for slipping, ducking and for quick reflexes. Not meant to beat the crap out of, as it'll just rocket in the other direction and shoot right back at you! I really like this piece of equipment as it's much more helpful in training for speed, reflexes and head movement. It's adjustable but don't expect super tight unless you have a stronger support on the bottom, like filling it with sand or a different stand altogether. Ceiling hook is sturdy and make sure to use a stud finder for accurate installation position. Mitts get the job done, but I always hit it bare knuckles. The striking bag inflater is great, but make sure not to puncture the bladder inside the ball or it'll just leak air. Overall, great piece of equipment and value!

Decent enough for kids, but won't last very long against an adult who likes to give it a good hit every now and then. I got a set for my 12-year old nephew and one for myself. My nephew's is still holding up fine, whereas mine has completely fallen apart. The bundle seems like a good deal, but it turns out it's mostly worthless and cheap stuff. IMO, save your money and buy a better bag and gloves separately, and make your own stand using a 5 or 3-gallon bucket.. It will cost you a bit more to buy the pieces separately, but you'll have a DE bag that will actually last rather than this cheap collection of sub-par equipment that will leave you wishing you had bought higher-quality gear. The base is fairly light when filled with water. It would be heavier with sand, but I wound up using a 5-gallon bucket instead. The initial base bounced all over the place, even when using the low-tensions bungee cords the kit came with. For my nephew, his base will hold its place relativity well, but it is filled with sand and placed outdoors on the grass, restricting its movement more. Mine was placed in a basement on concrete and it slid all over the place with every single hit.The gloves are terrible. They are awkward to put on and they completely enclose your hands with only a few tiny holes on the palm for aeration, ensuring that your hands will get sweaty. The only upside is that they have a grip bar in them. The padding is minimal, but you don't really need decent padding on a DE bag. Still, I would suggest some cheap MMA/karate gloves rather than thinking you'll be saving by buying this kit. The gloves are extremely poor quality. The bungee cords are very, very low tension. This is good if you want a bag that wobbles all over the place to help with defense, but you will never be able to get them tight enough to make it good for speed-bagging and practicing combos. I used adjustable bungees from the hardware store instead. I had a set for high tensions and a set for low tension, swapping them out when desired. The adjustable bungees that come with the kit can certainly be adjusted a bit, but it's not quick and easy to do. You're best off buying two sets of bungees if you want to switch tensions. The bag is fine for light use, but mine was destroyed after about 3 months of moderate use; about 1 to 2 hours a week, every week. (I tend to do anywhere from short 15 minute to long 1 hour sessions, roughly 2 or 3 sessions a week) The stitching came apart on the front, exposing the bladder's encasing mesh and then the top loop ripped on an uppercut, making that the end of the bag. It's probably because I wasn't using the weak bungees that came with the bag, having the higher tensions bungees give too much stress on the loops, which reinforces what I said at the beginning: this is good for kids or if you want a solely defensive bag, but an adult will destroy this thing well before the year is over, especially if you like to give the bag a good pop every now and then rather than treating it like Glassjaw Joe.All in all, I'm glad my nephew is enjoying his kit, but mine has been an absolute failure. I'm going to invest in getting an decent, actual gym-grade DE bag, which is what I should have done to begin with. Trying to save a few bucks has resulted in a pile of broken and worthless junk. The only thing I plan to salvage from this is the hand pump, and even the pump isn't that great either.
