Beware that this belt is NOT 95" but 94". That one inch makes a difference in whether the belt will work or not and they have a no return policy on these belts. Extremely disappointed.

The drive belt broke on my Craftsman LT1000 42" cut lawn tractor so I ordered this Maxpower belt. I have purchased Maxpower products before and knew the quality would be good.You will have to remove the cutting deck. When installing the new belt, place it on the engine pulley first, then on the transmission pulley (I put it on the transmission pulley first but didn't have enough slack to place the belt on the engine pulley) There is a belt routing diagram on the underside of the left foot rest for reference. Make sure the belt is in all the keepers and put it on the clutch pulley last (worked best for me) My tractor is now back in action, WooHoo!

Belt grips right, no slip even when wet. Exactly what my early model craftsman lt1000 with manual transmission needed. Slipped it right in there and was Rollin in 10 minutes

Outstanding quality absolutely thrilled with this brand. They grab perfectly there’s no noises or slipping or anything like that the one that I put on that drives the rear actually scares me because they grip so well that if I’m trying to takeoff in fifth gear my damn lawnmower goes into a wheelie lol but for 20 bucks apiece outstanding belts their mower blades on the other hand I hate there is sharp as butter knives and don’t cut worth a crap

I almost hurt myself laughing at some of the 1 star reviews. Mowers have tension adjusters so that when you put on a new belt, you can loosen the tension a bit.This belt has great grip, and as mentioned above, once the tensioner was adjusted properly, fit perfectly.

This is a great replacement for the original belt that had hundreds of hours of use on it. After installing this and new idler and clutching pulleys the tractor doesn't shudder when under load. With chains, wheel weights, front snow plow, and rear blade, this belt has eliminated the shuddering when plowing snow. Now when letting out the clutch the sudden lurch is gone.

Perfect replacement for the transmission belt (part #130801, 95.25" x 1/2" V-belt) for the Craftsman 917.255430 lawn tractor. While this belt is an even 95" it still fits and works perfectly. This purchase is to replace the previous one I had of this exact same belt bought here, which didn't last very long, so I deducted one star. I hope that was just a fluke in manufacturing of the previous one.
