This item was identical to the John Deere latch strap used on my yard tractor grass bagger.

These are ever so slightly smaller Than the original part which means you have to exert additional pressure to get it latched. This means it is stretched a little more than it should be and not sure how long it can take the additional stress. If the slot was a little lower in the rubber, it would be fine. Since it is a set of 4 latches, my hope is I won’t go through then very fast.

Same look and feel as the original. Installation requires cutting the original large rivet holding the broken old strap. I replaced that with a bolt and locking nut and it works great. The reinstall really helps the handling of the Hopper, as well as the bagging efficiency (the hopper top needs the strap to pull it down on the bag). And with this four-pack, I'm good for years. Thumbs up.
