These are good clamps for the money. What I like best is that the pads pivot on an actual metal pin. The cheap clamps make the pin from the plastic of the clamp body and the pads just sorta snap over it. They easily break if you get the pads misaligned. I do small woodworking projects and work on electronic parts, and these clamps are pretty handy for that.

These clamps are much stronger than some I purchased from a miniature site. This set also contains several different sizes, which is helpful. Easy to keep together in the plastic tube container.

In my lamp and lampshade repair projects small clamps are essential. These are so helpful, with a variety of sizes to match different requirements, good at holding but not so strong that they damage delicate materials.

I use this for lots of things, but mainly in the garden. The bright colors prevent loss (the more common black ones get lost as soon as they lose their "feet") and they hold up reasonably well in the sunlight over time. I imagine the "feet" are an expensive addition to the clamps but necessary for wood-working. Well, many uses don't require "feet," and I would love to see spring clamps that cost less and could hold row covers to PVC hoops. They would be much easier to remove than the row cover clips, and they wouldn't cost so much to manufacture as clamps with "feet."

We use them to hold plastic over our garden and they are adequate to the purpose.UPDATE:I have been contacted by the seller...politely, I must add...wondering why the lackluster review. I am truly pleased at the concern by the vendor and want to say that my review is actually a good one. The clamps do as expected. I just am not excited by spring clamps that do their job as expected. I AM THRILLED TO HAVE A VENDOR CONCERNED ENOUGH TO SEE IF MY TEPID RESPONSE WAS DUE TO UNDERPERFORMING ON THEIR PART. I give Maxpower a 5 star rating! Though, I won't be dreaming about spring clamps tonight.

I purchased these for the color options. I wanted to use these for keeping score for CornHole. I took them for a family reunion and these clips were so helpful with multiple bag colors and multiple games going on at one time. The clamps are sturdy as well!
