All the brackets are nice thick steel and formed symmetrically.Yes, welding is required.No, there are no instructions whatsoever.Yes, it can be used on non-S10 mini trucks with minimal extra fabrication.My biggest complaint is what if the red poly bushings go bad, what is a replacement part number for them, are they even available separately?

I like this kit and my only complaint would be that it needs to come with a small amount of paint. You need to weld this kit so you are going to be grinding a little it on the edge to remove the paint. Then after you weld the parts, you will need to re-paint them so they don’t rust. It seems like they over looked that part. Or maybe they assume people will just leave the welded areas uncoated.Other than that, everything looks good and very well made. I have not installed this kit yet as I am gearing up to the project. This kit should work very well so I am looking forward to installing it. I recommend this kit as you will have all the pieces you need to get it installed.

Several years ago I installed a high end version of this kit made by a different manufacturer. This definitely isn't the same quality, but it's also a fraction of the price.After installing, I believe that this kit is more than strong enough and will last a reasonable long time depending on use. It's definitely provides a better performance to price ratio than the previous overpriced version that I have used in the past.

A nice 4 link setup for the S10. The kit includes most everything you need to weld on a 4 link rear end setup. The links or arms are made well with good bushings for most applications. This does require a bit of work to install and even though it's designed for the S10, you need to remove and cut away the leaf spring brackets go the frame to mount the 4 link mounts. Overall a great setup with adjustable links top and bottom to dial in the right suspension for your truck. The only downside is the parts a finished very well but you'll have to weld them on, so your brackets will need to be refinished after the install. Matching the paint wasn't easy so I went with refinishing the whole kit in a color I could find and matches my truck a bit better.

This kit should be useful for people looking to do 2 different things - 1, put a larger engine in their S-10 in order to take it to the drag strip. 2, turn their S-10 into a Baja monster on a budget. This kit would work well for either individual.The build quality, weld quality, ect, is excellent. Ideally, you will want to weld this on, so solid metal and a little stick welding skill are fine things you should bring with you when it comes time to install this product. This isn't a set of bolt-on coil-overs. The installation is quite involved, bring your "Fabrication A-game" for this.In all, it's hard to argue with a 4-link kit for

worked perfectly for my s10 framed air ride rat rod build. triangulated bars welded to center third member on rear end, so be comfortable about welding to cast before making a decision on this kit.
