I would give 5 stars except for many applications they need to be shimmed and don't come with shims. I would gladly pay more to have everything needed to install in the kit. I will say they work great and look great and would purchase again and recommend them. luckily I had some steel around to make up shims.

Easy installation. I did have to buy longer U bolts for proper fitment on my 2003 Silverado. Completely eliminated my wheel hop and improved traction.

I swapped a big V8 into my old pickup last winter to fix a power issue, well all of a sudden I had a wheel hop issue... a bad one. It was violent and nearly tore the rear axle out of the truck when you tried to peel out. Installing these traction bars, which took less than an hour, completely fixed this problem even though I added much wider and stickier tires! I will just mention two things: First, these were slightly too short for my pickup, which I expected. So the rubber bump in the front doesn't hit the spring perch but instead hits the leaf spring very close to the perch. I assumed these were made for cars with shorter springs so I knew this before I ordered, just something to note. Second, the instructions say "Must be parallel to chassis/frame. Install shims in the rear to accomplish this." Well, there are no shims in the kit and indeed, I needed them. So I made my own shims and used a good 3/4" in the rear to level them out. Not a big deal for me but something to consider if you don't have access to tools. Overall i'm extremely happy with how cheap/easy this extreme problem was to solve. I hope they work as well for you!
