... For years I have been buying only Maxell bec never had an issue... That has changed with this particular product. Now, the reproduction is a complete gamble and all I can do is pray to the Gods of Laser Disk... Terrible quality! Do not buy if you plan to save something important.

These are not CD-RW, they are just CD-R (not rewritable)... not what was described, so couldn't be much more disappointed

Great value. Haven't found a bad disc so far. Makes great CD's. Love to be able to print right on the CD.

I love to make music cds to play in my car or wherever I am. This was a great deal because I also got the white paper sleeves with the order for a very reasonable cost. The cds have been great, no issues and no complaints. Will be purchasing again.

These are low cost but high performance CD-Rs. The packaging is adequate. Sometimes the spindle can crack away at the base when so many CD-Rs are packed unto it. Forutnately, these were fine. The ink from my Disc Painter adheres wells to the surface. However for best results, you should allow the ink to dry properly before attemping to use the CDs.The under-side of these discs are silver with only the slightest tinge of green on them. The hub of these CD-Rs are clear apart from "Maxell" that is screen printed unto them.I think that this is a fine choice if you use blank CD-Rs on a regular basis and want to give them a professional printed look.

I've been using these CDs regularly for about 2 years now and have found them to be very reliable - haven't had one fail yet during the write process. I duplicate about 5 per week using a 5-DVD/CD duplicator; admittedly, not high volume. Content is all audio (sermons at a small church). The matte finish works well with the Dymo DiscPainter CD/DVD Color Printer (1738260) and provides a pretty reasonable CD label. And at $0.19 each, you can't beat the price.

These CDs cost less than the Verbatim brand (which are excellent) and appear to be just as good. I've had 100% success with both the recording side (data and music) and the printing side. I strongly recommend using printable CDs for labeling. Lightscribe is dead (too costly and slow) and paper stick-on labels require too much manual effort, are expensive, and dangerous (the glue will eventually give out).May 22, 2012 ...I have now used, and re-ordered these CDs, many times. For some reason, Amazon will not package them to arrive safely. Many of the reviews state the same problems. The cases and spindles arrive broken. In spite of that, I've never had a bad CD. But I have lowered my rating from 5 to 3 stars because of the chronic shipping problems. With so many reviewers experiencing the same issue, why hasn't Amazon gotten the message?I will continue to order these CDs when the price is low. It fluctuates widely, so check back often to try to catch it when the price is down (I've see it as low as $15.99). Save any intact spindles and cases you manage to get, you'll need them to use in place of the majority that arrive broken. If you can't wait and the Verbatims are near the same price, go with those.

I noticed some negative reviews from high-speed, high-volume copying users. I do a few CD's here and there and these are working fine for me and my iMac. They print fine and copy well. No problems for the light to medium volume copier.
