I've been burning CD-Rs for over 25 years and can honestly say this is the 2nd most-defective brand I've dealt with in all that time. It took 28 CD-Rs to get 20 that were successfully burned. That is an unacceptable failure rate.

These are excellent Cd-R‘s. For all of you people confused as to what the top or the bottom is there is a ridge on the bottom that you can feel with your finger. It actually keeps the bottom of the disc from touching the surface of the CD player/ recorder which allows it to spin without being scratched It is not possible to tell the top from the bottom simply by looking at the disc. these are high-quality discs for a great price. I am very satisfied and I burn thousands of music CD-R’s

Price was nice. I got one or two bad ones out of the hundred which is typical. They sound good.

The funny thing is we're not using them to burn info to them, we're using them as decoration for a college party. But it's exactly what I needed and came in timely.

I didn't like that I could t tell which side to record on. I finally figured it out. Maybe it should be stamped on the unrecordable side or a paper stating which side is recordable or cover the non recordable side some how.

I've purchased name brand CD's and they have all had bad batches to where hundreds of CD's would not burn correctly. I've bought these CD's for about a year now and I haven't found a bad CD yet. The only downside is you can't distinguish the top from the bottom, but it's an easy find after some trial and error. If you look at the innermost circle of the CD there are letters and numbers. If you hold it to the light and you see the letters and numbers are in a readable format, then that is the top of the CD. If you see the letters and numbers are backwards, then that is the bottom of the CD.

If you are one of those who cares enough about your Music to Burn your own CDs off of iTunes. These are good CDROM for a Good Music system and CD Player.Only thing...they come packaged simply in Shrinkwrap. The Wavy-silver side is UP. The other flat MIRRORED side is what you record on. I suggest using Print Labels from Avery # 5968 instead of magic Marker
