I ordered this to be able to organize a play area for the grandkids. It works perfectly. A few pieces arrived damaged but there were extras so not an issue. The pieces are also a little fragile (soft aluminum) so handle with care until you get the unit completed. It took a while to put together (lot of pieces) and I had to use the wooden mallet (included) to make sure everything was tight. I would suggest laying out all the pieces prior to starting construction because this made the overall process so much easier. The finished product is sturdy and makes for a nice addition to the bedroom/playroom.

One of the fabric pieces meant to act as a shelf bottom is defective. It's super thin and flimsy and won't hold weight.

It is sturdy, is what it says; the metal can bend somewhat easily (kinda soft) but is still sturdy overall, you just can’t be too rough when pulling it apart 😅 i accidentally indented the end of one but was able to push it out where i could still use it if i had to, though i ended up leaving it out as the extra piece for the style i chose. Overall pleased. 👍

The good- excellent for budget friendly shelving and storage. i use fabric cubes(from dollar tree) to put in the squares for stuff that i use frequently or has lots of small bits. I can add a touch of color to my design by using them also. Strong to hold some books but wouldn't use it as an actual book shelf. Putting it together was kind of frustrating. One of each of the metal tubes were out of round not enough to visibly notice but enough to not go on the slot and almost tore through the brace.

I needed a place to display my books and goodies until I can afford a more sturdy bookshelf. This worked perfectly. It's large enough and you can arrange the squares however you want. I didn't bother using the wall clasps since it's temporary but even still it's pretty sturdy. The cost was good and was delivered super fast. I am pleased with this product and if I need more I'd be willing to buy again to add on.

Easy and relaxing to assemble, customizable and visually appealing. For sure worth the price point, and can hold weight very very well. Some of the reviews say they are unable to stack books on the shelf, however I am able to store around 5-10 pounds of books on 1 shelf. No wobble, and it comes with a little hook for your clothes :)

If you are looking for a display shelf for decor then this would be an average choice. If you are using for actual storage to use I would find a more sturdy choice. It is easy to install but will take a bit to put together given some rods could be bent. It did come with some extra pieces.Anytime the shelf is moved of if you place things on it that you will shake the shelf in any way the rods come out easily having to reinforce. Not kid friendly as the rods are sharp and can cause injury.

Putting it together is a little tedious but not difficult. I got a little over zealous with the mallet and busted a plastic piece, but it didn't effect the product. It comes in a manageable sized box, all the materials are included and neatly organized, and the directions are very easy to follow. The color is perfect for my classroom, and the aluminum rods and shelving material do give it a lot of support, although I wouldn't put anything super heavy on it.It's a lot more sturdy than I thought it would be, which is nice. There are no screws or tools needed unless you put the stabilizer in the wall to keep it from tipping. Mine is just standing there without the stabilizer, and it's perfectly fine.I will definitely be ordering another one for my art studio. I'm very pleased with the product.

I got two of these units, one to hold art supplies in my home office, the other for inside a closet, to hold sweaters, tops & pants. It's easy but a bit fiddly to assemble these, mostly because I have no patience with stuff like this. But they go together well, I was able to change my mind about the configuration with a minimum of fuss.As to the over all sturdiness and quality - it cost something like $23, why complain? Would I store the heirloom china set from my great-grandma's on this? Or the 500lbs of pennies that I've been collecting since i was ten? No, no I would not. These shelves are thin aluminum pipes and plastic sheeting - they're going to sag & possibly bend or even break with any significant weight. But they're not selling these as shelves that can handle that kind of weight. These are really good for stuffed animal collections, for sweaters & pants, for little kiddie books (on a bottom shelf) and other lightweight items that you want collected & organized. In fact, the design is rather clever - definitely the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. So without a doubt these shelf/cubby units are worth it - but if you're trying to store large, heavy objects - go look for a better quality shelf, but understand that you'll also pay considerably more for it. These are great shelves for the money.

My daughter arranged her books, it was about to fall on my daughter’s head. What a shame. I am a loyal customer of Amazon, it’s been 10 years now I am using. They shouldn’t provide such products. Beware all. it’s a very low quality product. It will cause accidents

I have bought this type of shelf before and was really happy with it, so I went with this brand because I needed 12 shelves.I really like it. Other reviews had me a bit nervous, but overall good! I was surprised at how short it was though. I'm 5'3 and it's a little over chest high. It comes with an awesome anchor. I haven't seen many shelves with an anchor kit, much less these cheap ones. It comes with 2, one for each side. I haven't anchored it yet because I haven't found it's permanent spot yet. You do have some extra to modify the style of the shelves. It comes with pretty good instructions on how to build and how to make each different style, including what will be left over from whatever style you pick.I homeschool, teach at church, and do crafts. I've put school books and 5 bibles on one shelf (we all know how heavy a Bible is) and it holds just fine. Definitely make sure to pack the bottom shelf heavy before you put anything heavy on top. It'll help keep it from tipping (which is true for any lightweight shelf), although I haven't stacked anything heavy on top so I haven't had any tip issues anyway.I really like how the shelves are wide enough for long bins. It's deep enough to hold regular size books and notebooks, but it is not tall enough for binders. I had to lay those sideways. So the individual bars aren't super strong, but keep in mind it's all about weight disbursement. All the bars together share the weight to hold anything you put on it. I really like these kind of shelves. They're minimalistic and hold a lot of weight, yet are super lightweight themselves and easy to move.
