I bought this because it looked like better quality than the other I could find (for soldering and projects etc.) It works, the handsfree mechanism is kind of a pain.The major issue is when trying to fill with butane, a lot spills out and is wasted as the connection is poor. Then, the nozzle constantly leaks, I can hear it. So I only fill up the amount I think I'll use otherwise it is wasted,

If you need to shrink shrink tubing or heat shrink butt connectors this is perfect. I also use it when I need to solder larger gauge wires. It easy to use it has a lot of adjustment in flame size. It’s really almost impossible to see the flame out side in the day light. You may not see it’s on so be careful not to burn yourself or other surroundings

This is just an oversized butane lighter of the same quality that never works like it's supposed to! I filled this "torch" a bit and tried it and it came on with a nice long powerful blue flame, ONLY ONCE. ThenI filled it substantially up and tried it again and all it put out was a big yellow, low-heat flame that did not adjust with the supposed adjuster. I messed with it for awhile and after a minute it would not ignite at all, just spew out gas that I could hear. The fuel shutoff didn't shut the flow off either, the "hands free" position didn't keep teh flame going and when i didn't get qa blue only flame it was very weak and short , about like most butane lighters after the first use.finially, it's not a good paper wieght because it's too light.

This thing is a PAIN in the BUTT to get Fluid into it and then it only lasts maybe long enough to cook one thing so if you're cooking for more than one person I suggest buying a different one. When it works it works decently (which is the reason for the 2 stars) otherwise, having to stop cooking and refill it after 2 or 3 minutes of use is quite a pain in the Proverbial BUTT!
