DON’T WAIT. Amazing for dry goods! It’s so easy to use and the hand pump is great if you don’t have vacuum sealer just yet! Hardly any clean up and seals perfectly. Doesn’t take up too much space in the drawer either. 100% worth every penny!

This does a wonderful job sealing a jar of nuts, seeds and other dried foods. However, the manufacture shows photos of a jar of spaghetti in sauce. That is so MISSLEADING. Preserving food such as pasta sauce and other wet foods requires water or pressure canning depending on the acidity of the food.

I’m a pizza maker on weekends and buy the smallest cans of pizza sauce I can. But between fridays my sauce would grow mold on it and have to be thrown out. No more.I put the sauce in a small ball jar and use the syringe to pull out the air. It has like a rubber grommet on the top of the syringe and You just squeeze it over the hole. Pump it a few times and your good to go.Ingenious invention!

OMG so happy I bought this device.. took me a second and reread the instructions but finally figured it out.. I've been canning my stuff the old fashioned way of boiling them in water and it takes too long and can't guarantee it works every time but this is fool proof.. works every time.. thank you for making my year.

Nozzle too large. Otherwise, it looks ok. Description says it fits FoodSaver vac-500 and highly compatible.

I specifically purchased this set becuase it stated that it fit the food saver vacuum sealers. This does NOT fit the food saver sealer that I purchased last fall. They need to update their listing.
