Do not last installed 2 weeks ago both keys have became inoperable today left me stranded with truck not starting good thing mechanic who installed them showed me how to bypass them in case they failed, which they did. I do not recommend this product.

I bought this after being a victim of the "Steal a Kia" video challenge on November 11, 2023, after I got my car recovered back on November 17, 2023 (thankfully no damage to the car but, wear and tear on the entire drive system), I vowed to not be a victim again. After Christmas I went to a local stereo & car alarm installer, and put this in my car last year, so in 2024, I will not be a victim of the next Kia related vehicular tiktok/YouTube/Facebook video challenge. No complaints about this item, but it has been a learning process to know there is a special extra step than, "insert key and turn" but once I perfect the steps I'll be sleeping well knowing that my car will remain in my driveway. Also, I recommend putting the chip connection somewhere inconspicuous. And only where you and the installer can be in agreement over.

This sure helps keep my truck in my driveway where I left it. Disables the truck and foils the thieves that our police can't seem to keep on top of. Great insurance policy against auto theft.
