LUXE BY MARTIN bridge pins are just another example of the company’s mission to constantly improve the tone and playability of our guitars. These high-tech pins are made from Liquidmetal, a Zirconium alloy, that reflects energy instead of absorbing it. The result is an increase in volume and sustain, without sacrificing the low-end, or richness, of the guitar’s tone. In addition, they are extremely durable and will last significantly longer than most bridge pins on the market today.

These bridge pins are legit. They are worth 100 dollars all day.that seems about the right price for them.I struggled with buying these for the last two years, because I thought 100 dollars is alot to lose on a false promise. But as usual, martin comes through(they have never let me down) and there is a very noticeable improvement. My wife and I noticed as soon i finished putting the pins in and tuning my guitar.I have a martin x series special concert style. And I loved the guitar before i got these(it's my frist and only martin for now), but damn these bridge pins make a huge noticeable difference. Now I know there are way better solid wood Martin guitars(mine is some kind of pressed or human made wood)but it's still to me,excellent and I know my guitar is not on a solid wood level. But if you want really great sound in a decent price range, the x series special with these bridge pins or I imagine the more expensive ones will make your guitar sound better.and the x series special is still a martin guitar and it great.I wish I had known 2 years ago I wouldn't of wanted. I also plan on getting the same ones for my Yamaha acoustic.

I cannot justify $100 on bridge pins to anyone but i went ahead and bought them for a 12 fret acoustic guitar that i use for open tunings & finger picking . It was a $1000 12 fret guitar that i have been altering slightly to sound like a $4600 Martin 0012-28 . I carved the bracing with a 10mm finger plane to take some stiffness away from the top and back . After alterations the guitar still was not $4600 Martin BUT it added character that made me want to play it more . I bought these bridge pins after playing my instrument everyday , for a week , in a quiet room so i could tell a difference . In this 12 fret it added chime to the high strings , however in my Gibson L-2 that had graphtech pins , the Martin Liquid metal pins took away some high string chime .... interesting . It is not an upgrade for every guitar.

I installed these pins in my Martin Custom Shop 00-28. The guitar is the finest guitar I've ever owned. It is truly a masterpiece as guitars go. I really didn't think I would hear any difference, but once the Liquid Metal pins were in there was an immediately noticeable improvement in both volume and sustain. I have to say that I was quite pleasantly surprised. I have three other Martins, and I will be installing these pins in them as well. This is a great product.

I have to admit that I was very skeptical and had a difficult time believing that Liquidmetal bridge pins could make a difference in the sound of my guitar. I've contemplated buying these pins for over a year. I shouldn't have waited. It's like I have a new guitar with a cleaner, more vibrant sound. -- Yes. They are expensive, but not nearly as expensive as a new guitar.

These bridge pins are the real deal... improved my 10 year old Martin OM28e Retro that I had to experience to BELIEVE! The greater sustain increase brought many new tonal pallets of colors to overlay upon each other for fuller deeper chords & arpeggios for both fingerstyle and strumming!!! Volume alone increased by 1.8 db, folks that's close to 2x the highest volume with colors upon tonal colors, before I replaced the original bridge pins with these Martin liquid metal Luxe (bone colored) pins...WOW! Indeed, hearing is believing of how they transfer the string energy to the top instead of absorbing that precious string energy. Transformed my $6,000 guitar...what a value for these new Martin Luxe liquid metal bridge pins! Buying two more pairs (black Luxe bridge pins) for my two other Martin guitars!

I purchased 2 sets of metal pins. I put the first set on a Martin HD35 and second set on a Taylor GS Mini Koa+.First on the Martin, IMO these pins added some focus to the sounds (brightness), which takes away from the sound I personally prefer of Martins. As far as volume and sustain IMO Liquid Metal had slightly longer sustain with metal (subtle). VERDICT--If you are playing a song and want a bit more focus and brightness then you would switch out plastic for metal...On the Taylor the Pins produces a MUCH notable difference. Much louder and amazing. More sustain, More Volume. The GSMINI KOA+ sounds amazing with plastics.. Put liquid metal on it and the only analogy is like turbo charging..Hope this helps

I bought these after a friend installed them on his Gibson J45.I have exactly the same guitar as him and I immediately heard the difference. They are a little pricey, but if you’re into quality sound on your guitar with their ability to make a guitar sound even better and brighter with each string that you pluck or strum, then these are a must for any guitarist.I’m not being paid to endorse these but just being honest and telling people what I personally have found.

Eine tolle Innovation von C.F. Martin Guitars!
