Installation was easy peasy! but first you have to get the seal off of it ! That was an interesting process. Bit will definitely be back for more, now that I know it's a perfect fit for a much better price.

Review of MARRIOTTO Replacement for GE® RPWFE, RPWF (Built-in CHIP) Refrigerator Water Filter, Compatible with GFE28GELDS, PFE28KELDS, PFE28KYNFS, GFD28GELDS, GYE22HMKES, GFE28GYNFS, GFD28GYNFS, Pack of 2I ordered these for my GE refrigerator since ordering these in OEM form, from GE, is outrageously expensive. The one I used worked and installed just fine. My refrigerator detected the chip and cleared the warning for a needed filter change. Now we wait to see if they last the almost 6 months my others normally last.

I have ordered other brands that claim RPWFE that is not compatible with my GE fridge as claimed. They are only RPWF without the chip so be careful. This one has the mandatory built-in chip and works perfectly for less than half the cost of the GE filters. No leakage, good taste and quality. I have subscribed. Totally recommend.
