Great replacement for pennies on the dollar compared to the ones at the home improvement and appliance stores. Water comes out faster, nit sure if that is good or bad but it tastes pure. It seems to taste better than the name brand one that I replaced it with.

The Glacier Fresh MWF filter is a great value if you are looking for a replacement MWF filter for your refrigerator. Ive been using this same brand for a couple of years and have never had any issues whatsoever. I can't tell the difference between these filters and the filters from GE. I did have a little bit of trouble getting my latest filter screwed in but I attribute this to my own user error. Aside from that, my water tastes great as does my ice from my ice maker. The price difference between these and the original name brand filters is definitely enough to justify the purchase. Great savings for a great filter! Highly recommend it!

I rarely write reviews for products, but I felt I had to for this water filter. I recently moved to the city and the tap water tastes awful and my fridge wanted a GE MWF filter, but it was ridiculously expensive just for 1 filter. So I figured I'd try this out instead for a cheaper cost, but also expecting less quality. However, I just installed it tonight very easily and I am very impressed by the quality of water now. I followed the instructions and ran a few liters of water when I first put it in, and there was some sputtering, but not more than expected. And when I tasted the water, it was completely different than the previously gross, muddy taste. The water tastes much fresher and visibly looks clearer. I am very impressed with how well this filter improved the taste of water, especially at a much better price than the name brand. Definitely worth the purchase!
