This worked perfectly in a small tank. The color is vibrant yellowish green and looks as natural as any silk plant in a tank can look. I wanted something that popped with color, was natural looking, and flowed gently in the water. Love this plant decoration in our betta tank. I like that the silk leaves won't damage our betta's fins, and the vibrant color makes our betta stand out.

I bought this for my betta's tank and it's perfect. It's soft and adds a nice pop of color. I've had it for about 5 months now and while it has gotten a little dirty, it's easy to clean and hasn't started fraying like the silk plants I bought from a local petstore.

Brilliant colour underwater with LED light canopy. Nice size for my 7” tall tank (2.5gal). Leafs are soft, with plastic stems and faux stone base.

Great for providing a little non-edible consistent greenery in the tank. Use with real plants to keep your fishy friends content.

After battling a water snail infestation, have now resorted to artificial plants. Needed soft, material plants as have a black moor who have apparently got bad sight and can also knock their googly eyes off (eeeuw!!)

As far as artificial silk plants go, this is a lovely looking plant. Great to add a dash of colour to your aquarium, with mostly soft edges to protect against fin damage for those fish with long and potentially fragile fins. Most of my relatively small aquarium has real plants, but I wanted to add a dash of colour to an otherwise green and brown looking setup.I'm so impressed with this product that I'm going to purchase another one for my aquarium. At less than £4 delivered you can't go wrong!

This is quite small, but that ended up being perfect for my little guy in his hospital tank. He's got SBD, and is stuck at the surface most of the time, and this plant's leaves are wide enough for him to have support below him as he floats on top. He seems real comfy. It's not the most realistic plant out there, but I think once "planted" in among other decor, it will add very nice color and good shape to the foreground.

Tried silk plants as a change from the store bought plastic plants. They are OK but over time the edges began to shred, which takes away from the natural look. If algae accumulates, be careful not to scrub too hard as the dye in the fabric comes out and the edges begin to fray. I recently went back to the higher quality plastic plants made by Jardin, which are very bushy, look natural and are set on a heavy base guaranteed not to move.

{{ Update 8-26-13 After 8 months, this still looks good. Some of my other silk plants got stained and I threw them out, but this one still looks good! }}This foreground plant looks pretty in the water with the aquarium lights shining on it. The colors are vibrant but not too bright.I know some real plants help reduce nitrates, but after adding real plants I started having problems with algae. I prefer artificial plants for that reason. Once you get algae it's really hard to get rid of. I have a 25 gal freshwater tank which was so boring before I decorated with 12 silk plants- small, med and large sizes. I arranged the plants around 2 black lava rocks and added a blue background. The colors of the plants look nice with the black rocks and the blue background. The plants fan out from either side of the rocks and sway in the water. The colors of the plants make the colors of the fish stand out more. Plus the fish seem to feel more secure because they can hide among the plants, like they would in the wild. They search the leaves and under the plants for missed food.Makes a perfect hiding places for fry.I am happy with these plants. I like the way they add color and texture to my aquarium and my fish seem to like having a more comfortable home.
