These were exactly what I needed to grow out some plants in my aquarium. When you first use these pots, be sure to squeeze out the air in the sponge to help it saturate the sponge and keep it from lifting out of the ceramic pot. I have white sand so works well with my setup.

These are the cutest plant holders! We have a bare bottom tank and these hold the plants perfectly and really helped us have a better looking planted tank.

Simple but easy to use looks good in the tank functional and small enough to hide well worth the cost. Sponge is soft so not to damage root.

I am disappointed that the cylinders are concrete color instead of white, but the set up is great for aquatic plants and they’re very easy to use. I like these much better than planting in the gravel or gluing to rocks or wood. I used three for sword plants and they really bring a natural look to my otherwise glow in the dark decor. Great function.
