With the larger diameter I ring the battery compartment will not close. Had to reuse the original o-ring.

I don't have a Puck computer I bought this for my Mares Nemo Wide. Amazon and other sites did not have a battery replacement kit for a Nemo Wide and this looked like the closest thing. I replaced the battery, a CR 2450, which seems to be a common generic battery for many brands. The O-ring was the wrong size, so I just used the old one after wiping it with silicone. This is not the fault of the seller. I was just improvising with what was available. I take the Nemo as a backup when I dive, so in the unlikely event that the O-Ring fails it won't be a problem

Do note that this is for Mares Puck & will not work for the newer Mares Puck Pro models. The o-ring that came with it was too thick for my Mares Puck Pro. Its a waste of money for me.

Instructions for (?) older Mares Pucks show it to open by turning less than a quarter turn to unlock. Mine seems to be threaded to screw down with several turns. I can not get my cover back on now... still working on it. Need to get a magnifying glass to see if this is the correct way to lock the cap back on.
