These really work ! I dive for a Sheriff's dept, we use these across the entire team, in addition to 2 sets of paramedic shears per guy. When you are entangled in nylon fishing line or thin rope, this is the ticket. When it's heavy rope, nets or wires, shears are better. We do a lot of diving under piers and bridges, so these get used, there's a lot of junk/lines/fishing line/wire around. Tip -> Take 2mm latex tubing and make a hand loop, stuff that in the sheath on the *non sharp side* of the tool, as it's super easy to drop this gadget. Also, you can easily slip and cut yourself, I wish the handle was wider and more of a T or even had a tang type flat finger guard, I have sliced up a few pairs of gloves (and fingers!) with this in black out conditions.

Top quality and easy to use, multi attachment loops make it easy to attach to your bcd or other parts of your kit.So good ordered one for myself as the first was a gift for my dive buddy the wife.

I've had this for a couple of years now and it is still in perfect condition.Cuts well and slips neatly onto the webbing of my harness, so that it's always within reach but never in the way.

This is a fantastic little knife, as a freediver with NoTanx, kit that works is essential,It fits my weight belt lovely is portrait mounting position and is essentially the same width as the belt so no digging in to my hip.Easy to get at when you need it and easy to use with gloves on etc. The titanium is a god send especially at this price point, i know its not supposed to rust but i put a little bit of grease on it anyway just in case. Just need a little paracord to secure it to your kit should you drop it in use but thats easy enough to do yourself.Small, light, cheap and easy to use what else do you ned

Good diving knife, but I expected it to be a little sharper.I have it as a backup and just leave it on my BC, since it won't rust.

The best budget line cutter I've come across in a long time. Titanium, so it won't rest, and will keep an edge, a nice action when cutting that infernal monofilament, compact so it easily fits in a pocket.

This is a really well designed line cutter with a neat little velcro tag to keep it secure in its holster.Monofilament line is the biggest entanglement hazard as its so hard to see, especially in low visibility conditions. So its reassuring to have a decent line cutter with you.The design has really been thought about and is easy to grasp and use even with gloved hands (as is so often the case when diving). There is a serrated section of the blade which can be used to cut through conventional ropes / cords too.The holster itself has velcro section to secure the cutter. Also it has webbing bands on the back to allow the cutter to be secured to a harness or strap too keep it in place (eg. around a BC inflate hose or a part of your harness / BCD). The cutter is small enough to fit on the back of a large dive computer or a normal sized rebreather controller too if you have one of those with straps.Overall a great piece of kit and likely to be far more useful than many conventional dive knives.

The time when scuba divers were running around with Rambo knives is luckily gone. :-)I used to carry small dive knife secured on my BCD shoulder strap. It worked great, but let's be honest I did not use it once after 100 dives in kelp. It is very rare to get stacked in fishing line but if you do, you need something what works. This line cutter is very flat, light, fits perfectly on my BCD strap and the inside of the hook is very sharp. Ir really exceeded my expectations.
