usually I use XL or bigger for scuba gear. The ML was plenty big enough. Ejects air better than most BCD's

The bcd was to large, I went by aqualung size.chart. I went from a large to a med/large from another place. The color of the BCD was not like the photo displayed. It was gray and black instead of blue, gray and black. I bought that one because of the blue on it. I returned the package deal.

Recently returned from a diving trip to Roatan where I got to break in my new gear. First lets talk about the BCD. I liked that I was able to get a Med/Large which fit me perfectly. When you rent often they only have Med or Large so that was nice. Although it makes it a bit heavy switching between tanks if you don't pull the weight pockets I loved having the integrated weights. Having the small weight pockets behind the tank too are a bonus to balance the weight. The materials seem very durable and it has a good mix of pickets and rings for mounting things. Now for the regulator/computer. For the most part the regs worked very well. I did have an issue during one dive where the primary reg started leaking air and was constantly bubbling under my mask which was driving me crazy. I did some research and somebody mentioned that I might have gotten a bit of debris in the diaphragm. The recommendation was swish it around in the water while purging to clean it out and that worked. Even 105 feet down I had no issues breathing.I loved the ability for the i300c computer to sync to the app on the phone which gives you a great deal of data about the dive. It was occasionally stubborn to connect to sync but I loved the functionality. The app could use a bit more work. On the computer itself I think nitrogen loading could be displayed a little better especially how much is left in the system while on the surface but generally happy with it. When doing your safety stop it does a 3 min countdown timer for you and you can also choose to add a intermittent safety stop down deep if you were on a deeper dive. I would also like to get it to sound a audible beep when reaching the safety stop.Happy with the purchase and looking forward to using it during future trips.

It’s really gets the job done. First set of gear that I purchased after earning my advance certificate, and I’m very pleased with my choice.

This is my first set of Scuba gear to own myself. I did plenty of research and knew the kind of diving I would be doing. Mainly OW and AOW dives in the Gulf of Mexico. The system as a whole is a great I would recommend to anyone who is shopping in this price range. Great bang for your buck. The BCD is noticeably high quality and seems to be extremely durable. I expect it to last for a long, long time. It is easy to use with plenty of clips and the pockets are awesome. BIG, double zippers and strong! Inflates great and trims so smooth! makes buoyancy a breeze honestly. The integrated weight release system (Does not come with weights) is great! I added soft lead and it has worked great for me. I keep 6lbs on the tank pockets and the rest in the quick release pockets on the front of the vest. The Titan Regulator is very comfortable and has worked awesome for my dives so far to depths around 110-115ft. I will update if any changes when weather is colder but so far so good. I tested the Octo on a pier cleanup dive and it worked with no issues. The i300c Dive computer is easy to read and use at depth. I don't need anything fancy and this gives me the information I need in a very easy to read and use computer. The Bluetooth works great and connects to the app with no issues and is very convenient to download my dives very quickly to my phone.

Everything in this kit is top notch but it didn’t come with the Low Pressure LP Hose for inflation of the BCD. I would have thought that would come with the BCD. So it’s not a ready to dive kit. Thankfully the local dive shop had some in stock.

Great starter kit. I was leery of getting a kit online, after speaking to my dive shop and being steered towards some "better" brands, but I decided for the money I could get more with this deal. I was not disappointed. I've only gone twice with it so far but I love it. Easy to balance, plenty of storage space, integrated weights. The computer is easy to use and easy to read during the dives. It didn't come with a compass so I had to order that separately, and I got the AL dive knife which connects easily and works great. I got a large and probably should have gone with the Med-Lg. I didn't find any sizing charts until I had ordered it and it was too late to turn back. The large is comfortable but I have it cinched about as tight as it would go. I used a large BC in class which was much smaller than this. Already planning to dive 4 more times this weekend.
