My daughter loved it until the “elevator” stopped working. Had to fix and adjust it multiple times inbetween play. Made this toy more frustrating than fun.

My grandkids love it. It is a little difficult to put together. I have to say I'm not a Lego master but the directions were a little difficult for me but once finished boy do they love it.

I don't know if I got a misprint or just really bad luck, but here's my experience following the instruction manual.The 1 height flat 4x2 pieces are supposed to clip onto 2 pegs of a 2 height 2x2 piece. Tenuous at best, however these don't even achieve stability. They are loose and wiggle. Used other duplos to support, but felt that was worth calling out.The design as provided is not buildable. The funnel pieces have their supports in the wrong spot. If you make a fist and stick your thumb out, your fist is now the funnel. The supports are supposed to be on your wrist and knuckles (top and bottom) but instead they're on the palm (left and right) zero issue for building your own design, game stopper for following the provided design.Most of this is forgivable and would have earned a 3 star, cause that's just kinda poor quality but work around it sort of stuff. What really killed it for us is the elevator. Ours fit loosely together, and the marbles kept missing their exit and jamming up the motor. Within three hours of playing with this, one of the yellow drill bits snapped, making the already questionable elevator completely useless - a bummer since the elevator is the entire reason we got this.I didn't bother reaching out to the manufacturer, I don't feel like finding all the pieces and mailing them back, definitely not worth it haha. Pretty much this set is just consumed into our main collection for backup parts I suppose. Other reviews had better luck with the elevator, but this set is a bust for us, I honestly wouldn't buy it again.

It is really neat to have a marble run that practically plays with itself. We can integrate it into other builds since we have a couple different Duplo sets, and it is a lot of fun to watch. Another reviewer mentioned getting a second set, and my imagination has been going wild with the possibilities.This set is not difficult to assemble, my 6-year old would have no trouble putting it together, and my 3-year old could be very involved with some adult help. It comes with a bunch of colorful marbles. They are nice and large, so they should be harder to lose than normal sized marbles and harder for a smaller child to choke on (although I'd still watch them around smaller children).I'm looking forward to many hours of entertainment with this automatic marble run.

My four-year-old had a blast with this! She wasn't able to put it together by herself, but with some help she was able to do it. She isn't that used to Legos, but a child familiar with them may be able to make their own "builds" early on, otherwise they'll learn little by little like my daughter is. Good teacher for cause and effect and an early intro to physics. I wish the balls had a little more weight so they would roll down easier, or that there was a variety of balls to further add to the educational value- one heavy and one light, for example. But overall, we love the concept and this toy!

This toy is so very much enjoyed by our 4 year old grandson & 2 year old granddaughter! They both are enamored by the built in elevator that moves the marbles to the top, to roll them down again & again automatically.He has a fascination with the engineering of the movement of the toy, while she just giggles as the balls go up to funnel down. A true “keep them pre-occupied toy” :0) that is mesmerizing to look at with all of the bright & colorful plastic and the colorful marbles! A keeper for many years to come and well worth the cost!

The product is great and I love that the balls are on the bigger side because I feel it’s safer than typical marbles. The box it came in was in pretty rough shape but otherwise the product is exactly what you’d expect.
