This is an elegant yet sturdy pill/spice grinder of flawless construction. I bought two, one in the green onyx, and one of the black marble. I am buying another one in the black marble. I also bought from this same company, RADICALn, two small shaving bowls. Since they are perfect, I am buying more of them. I use them as cat food bowls!

Such a pretty little thing. Could use this as just decor it's so pretty. Also it functions well. Almost too small to be useful but just big enough to work.

It’s very pretty, and the overall smallness is sweet. Very well made. The problem is that if you have to grind large, hard tablets, like Vitamin C and calcium, you can’t get a solid grip on the pestle in order to press those tablets because you can’t only hold it with your fingertips. It might be fine for spices, but no good for vitamins.

This is a great size mortar and pestle- perfect for crushing nuts and herbs and it does not take up much space. Absolutely love it! Buying more for friends. The green marble is gorgeous.

First, I love the tiny size. Great for smashing pills into powder (pet owners love this). Second, the entire set is made of onyx; the grinding part of the pestal is onyx, pills don't stick to it, nor do they stick to the onyx mortar. One of my cats, who is very tiny and cannot swallow pills, needs medicine twice daily. I just crush the pills to powder (no effort at all required) and add to her food. Third, I need to keep it on my kitchen counter where I prepare the cat's food, and it takes up such a tiny bit of space. The green/beige color is neutral and won't detract from your decor. The price was great also!

It's perfect for what I wanted it for and it looks nice just sitting there.It's worth pointing out that the inside is not rough. For me that's fine but it might not grind as strongly as some others. You could probably rough it up with heavy grit sandpaper or something though

I give it 4 stars because it seems smaller than what the photos shows. However, the size is stated on the description. It is very nice and heavy for pill crushing, garlic and small spices.

Perfect size for the 1 pill I have to crush up daily. It's small, definitely check sizing but I wanted something small so it's perfect for me. Heavy, beautiful and good quality.
