I really like it. The cushion is extra thick (but not wobbly) and would serve most drummers well.

Comfy seat and looks very nice. One downside though is that it often comes loose and the seat pad wobbles.

I bought this new stool due to its ability to be broken down into two relatively equal lengths making it easier to stow in my trap case. Versions with screw type mechanisms such as my indestructible Titan make more work and very dirty hands at the end of a long night. The overall build quality is satisfactory. These are the issues that I found with the stand which have been remedied through modifications. The collar which houses the locking t-nut came loose almost immediately after using the stool. I tried using liquid steel and finally pop riveted it to the lower tube. This met with poor results and I finally had to cut slots in the housing and clamp it to the lower tube as pictured. Additionally the upper tube height restraint collar cannot be tightened enough to keep the stool from sliding down. I ended up having to pop rivet that attachment as well. To be fair I am over 200 lb and put this throne through its paces for a three to four hour gig.Additionally I found the seat portion to be far too large to fit into my trap case given there are other items which need to be stored and I cut it down to a smaller more diminutive size and replace the ridiculously firm thick pad with softer, more butt friendly padding.I do not recommend this stool for anyone over say 150 lb and a more mild mannered player.
