This saw is incredible. I have cut down all the trees my father let overgrow. Some as high as 20-25 feet. Cut huge branches as thick as 10-12 inches, sure you have to have patience... but you can do it. I'm so impressed. Love it

For what is a budget pole saw, the Drunmist Manual Pole Saw is A-Ok in my experience so far; there’s nothing fancy about it, and quite frankly, when I first unboxed it, I was doubtful, but it gets the job done. When I say nothing fancy, I’m referring to the hand saw handle, and the various pole connections; they’re plastic-y and rudimentary, however, they’re light and do the job. And for the price, the kit includes everything needed to trim and prune outgrowths both reachable and unreachable. Besides ten sections of pole offering telescoped lengths between 38” or so with one pole, up to, according to the seller, 14.7”, also included are two blades, a handle for hand sawing, and a rope-pulled lopper. All of the necessary hardware needed to assemble the hand saw and lopper to connection poles is included; the extension poles thread together. The assortment of poles includes two end pieces, one with a handle and the other with mounting holes for the lopper assembly. The rest go in-between, with the length determined by the number of poles used. The hand saw blade, used with the included handle, is viciously sharp, requiring careful handling. I didn’t expect much from the lopper, but I underestimated again; cutting through 1” thick branches are not a problem, and it had more juice, but after about 1” the branches on the tree I’m trimming take a big leap up in diameter. The saw blade that sits on the end of the lopper is a little tricky to get started because it wants to pull the branch rather than cut. I found that giving it a hard, sharp pull backwards got it started, then it sawed just fine; I was cutting through 5” branches in no time at all. The plastic T-handle used to pull the lopper is at the end of the 14+ foot rope; it’s adjusted in length by drawing the rope through it, then tied off by wrapping it in slots in the handle; simple, rudimentary, but effective.Because the pole disassembles so quickly and easily to sections only 16” in length, it allows many options for convenient storage; there is even a lanyard hole in the pole section that serves as the handle. My use of the Pole Saw Kit is as a homeowner, and most of my use will be seasonal. In that respect, all things considered, that is to say, what you get and at what price, the Drunmist kit impresses me as a better than decent value.
