PERFECT FOR HIGH TREE BRANCH REMOVAL AFTER HURRICANE HELELEN! I EVEN USED IT ON 7 FALLEN TREES TOO! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICER WITH A MOTOR ON IT, ALSO IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN YOUNGER THAN 80 YEARS OLD! HA HA! THANKS MUCH!

Love this, sharp saw that cuts easily. I gave 4 stars, because due to the way connectors are attached. When over 15-20' the poles lean. Yes it is harder to steal at that height, but the more extensions you use the farther it leans. However, even at 27', if you can just get the blade to the destination, it makes quick work of the branches. I would add, the small joint connecting to the blade. I have been unable to unscrew, since the first use.

Most of the back of my property has trees and I needed to prune several branches to be able to mow that area where the yard and trees meet. So I got this pole saw to prune branches that were to low to mow under. This pole saw comes in several sections that need to be screwed together. I used three sections and the saw section that might be about 12 feet in length. Just this 12 foot section probably weights at least 30 pounds which is incredibly heavy for a pole saw that length. Screwing the sections together was tough to do and they really didn't sinch up tight. The pole sections had metal shavings and I think fiberglass particles which really irritate the skin. Took it out and sawed through 3 different limbs that were each about 5 to 6 inches in diameter. The saw is not that sharp and is flimsy which made it bind up. It took a tremendous amount of effort to saw these small limbs. The performance is poor at best. The saw does have decent rubber grips and comes with a pair of gloves. The saw and poles are in a long zippered bag with handles.

Because of this I was able to trim all my oak tree canopies high up giving my entire house that manicured look. Loved how I could trim these branches from the safety of the ground not getting on any ladders. The blade is super sharp making it easy! Only thing I’d say is it definitely is hard to raise it up when you have all the extensions on it. However once up you just rest the blade on the branch and can take as many breaks as needed.

I purchased this to deal with a couple of limbs that were out of reach. I've cut off five to six inch round limbs at full extension. I'm at 6 ft tall 200 lb in pretty good shape I mention this because it is quite a task to navigate that saw at full extension and then to engage in the cut stably and efficiently to complete the task. As for the lopper yes it works, a bit cumbersome with the ropes and such but gets the job done.Would recommend, and buy again.
