I had purchased a different manometer that was completely inaccurate and useless. After returning that one I purchased this on. What a difference! It's accurate and I had my furnace gas pressure correctly set in about 3 minutes. I can't speak to longevity or other functions but for my purpose it was an excellent buy that saved me a lot of money!

Liked that there are only a few buttons on the manometer. Easy to zero out and easy to read pressures. Comes with a fitting for gas valves. The supplied hoses are rather small( in diameter ) so If you have a gas valve that has a screw to loosen and a post around it( that the hose fits over ) to test pressure, you will need to find larger hoses to push over the post in order to check pressure. But otherwise, works easy and fine.

Very inexpensive way to measure the duct pressures in an HVAC system. (Be sure to also get a set of probes) This simple and inexpensive manometer enabled me to solve a long standing problem with our furnace. Our furnace had been constantly overheating and cutting out and the service tech didn't really know why. Was it a furnace problem, duct problem, coil problem??? I used this manometer to measure the supply and return pressures and see they were way too high vs the furnace spec. Turns out our house had been previously remodeled and a larger furnace added without expanding the duct work. So the existing ducts were insufficient to move the volume of air put out by the larger furnace and it over heated and would lock itself out as a safety precaution.I added and expanded ducts to bring the pressures down closer to spec and now the furnace works great and the house is much more evenly heated. This manometer provided the key information to know what was going on and what to do about it. Great investment!

I just calibrated my tankless propane water heater with this manometer. It seemed to work well and be accurate. So maybe it deserves four stars since it is so cheap.BUT the cheapness shows through in that it took me 10 minutes of struggle to get the 9V battery installed. The battery wires are too short to allow the battery to recess properly in the cavity given the cavity's shape. Either the wires need to be longer, or one needs to cut relief slots for the wires and battery harness in the case itself. Way too much trouble for something that should work out-of-the-box. If I ever use this again I will take it apart and cut out the needed reliefs.Right now both battery and wires are jammed in the cavity the only way they can fit and the door is crammed down on top of them and bulging out. The only reason it stays on is because it has a screw. Very annoying.Again it's cheap and it works, so that's good. But the battery situation is a pretty stupid form factor issue that shouldn't even be an issue - even on the cheapest versions of the tool (which this is not).

Across the board, as I had hoped. The meter comes with a nice enough tote, but seeing as how it doesn't prevent the meter from being turned on unintentionally, I keep it in the box it came in -- it's hardly larger than the meter itself. Also comes with some tubes and an adapter that should fit most regulators, though you may need to improvise or get additional adapters to suit your requirements.Wouldn't expect it to stand up to professional use and wear, but it's an affordable and functional option to calling a plumber if you know what you're doing. And I can't stress that enough: you're probably using this meter to make adjustments to a gas supply so take the time to read manuals and reference the internet for additional know-how *and* why.

I am a plumber and often have to diagnostic and repair on tankless water heaters. I recently had a lot of trouble with a customers water heater that after several adjustments and repairs was still giving me error codes. Prior to purchasing this product I used an analog manometer to measure gas inlet pressure and high / low fire pressures and make adjustments. Because I was still getting error codes I decided that it would be best to use a digital manometer to get the pressures just right. This did the trick no more error codes. There are only a few drawbacks for this device, hence the 4 stars. The problems are typical to most other manometers I have seen or used before. #1 no kick stand on the device to set it down while doing a reading. #2 the hoses provided with the package are very short and do not taper toward the ends to insert into the small sensing ports that I have to use so you have to hold the very short hose firmly to the port and not let gas escape while doing a test
