I bought this to use on my RV propane system. This is a great product but the directions are very vague for filling it with fluid. In the directions, it says to unscrew the top to fill it with fluid but does not specify if you are unscrewing the nut-looking piece or the plastic elbow (spoiler alert. You need to unscrew the elbow). I read the instructions multiple times and watched Youtube videos to try to see which one to unscrew but did not find anything that specified which one. The elbows were incredibly tight on the one I received so I tried unscrewing the nut-looking area however, all that resulted was that the white plastic box area cracked.I reached out to Dwyer Instruments through Amazon and the representative was very helpful and gave me a refund so I could purchase another one. The second one has worked great.

Is your propane regulator working correctly? My RV refrigerator performance was poor. I tested at the fridge burner port and pressure was 5-1/2 inches. Because the regulator is 10 years old I replaced it with a Marshall Excelsior 2-Stage regulator and set the pressure. An RV propane system needs 11 inches column of water pressure after your two stage regulator. You should pressure test while your propane furnace is running, and adjust to 11 inches. If you have 1/8" NPT test ports the kit has everything you need. I have ports at the refrigerator and the 2nd stage of the propane regulator. Use leak detector after you're finished.
