Pull off the existing round rubber feet at the bottom of the 3 tripod legs. These tripod feet slip over the outside of the metal leg and the supplied screwdriver is used to tighten the screws to attach them securely.The rubber feet on these spikes can be screwed down to completely cover the metal spikes so they can be used on indoor surfaces without damage.But when the rubber tips are moved up it leaves you with 2 - 3 cm of exposed metal spike.Use the spikes to dig into soft ground, such as grass and sand, or pebbles to give a more secure footing for the camera tripod = less movement of the camera for longer exposures or a 2 second shutter release delay.

Non è che ci sia molto da scrivere. Sono puntali della Manfrotto, montati su di un cavalletto Manfrotto. Molto facile rimuovere quelli originali di gomma e infilare, e poi stringere, questi che hanno sia il puntale in acciaio che il piede in gomma che, avvitandolo, scopre la punta d'acciaio che sta al suo interno. Direi che, forse, i cavalletti dovrebbero venire già equipaggiati così

Je les ai mises en places sur un trépied 144B en remplacement des embouts avec pointe d’origine qui se sont cassé.En fait ces embouts ne sont pas très spécifiques de la marque, car ils s’enfilent autour du pied. Ils ont un diamètre intérieur d’environ 2 cm et sont donc adaptable sur tout autre pied de même diamètre.Ils sont livrés avec leur tourne visse.A 45 euro en Avril 2016 ce sont de bon pièces de rechanges

I have two Manfrotto tripods: an older 3021 and a new 055xpro3. I was kind of hoping these feet would fit on the 055xpro3, but no, they do not. The lowest leg is too large in diameter. It also is not perfectly round...though I don't know how much that matters. There is a flat side on the part of the leg that faces in. So, I did a little more research and found the correct feet for the 055xpro3 are the 22SPK3. A lot more expensive than these...almost twice as much...and not currently available on Amazon. That said, the original feet on the 055xpro3 are much better than the little rubber cups that came with the 3021. And these feet do fit my 3021 perfectly.

They work as advertise. They are strong and do the job they were designed for. Although I personally think they should have been included with the product from the beginning.

I have an older model Manfrotto 3021with the original style twist leg locks that I recently purchased used on Craigslist. Great tripod, but I wanted to upgrade the rubber cap feet with the retractible rubber/spiked feet like I have on my trusty older model 3030a tripod. Since the 3021 is a discontinued model, finding the right feet involved a little research, after which I was fairly sure the 204SPK3 would be the right foot. Indeed, they fit great, so if you have a 3021 or 3221 (same just black) these will fit. The rubber seems to grip the floor a bit better, especially with the legs splayed out on the wider leg settings. Of course the spike can be helpful in some types of outdoor terrain.

If you are an outdoor photographer, then this is a must have. They appear are well-made, they are made from durable rubber and stainless steel that will hold up to whatever environment they are in. They were ease to attach and time and again have allowed me to gain traction on any terrain. I would recommend these, time and time again.

These spiked feet are a must have for any adventure photography, and they work very well on carpet too. They are very well built, but also very heavy and take a bit of time/effort just to spin the rubber foot from one extreme to the other. However, once in place it stays there and the spikes are very sharp and strong.I wish Manfrotto offered a lighter weight model with a flip away design to expose the spike. I am just part time professional photographer and could use something with less weight and faster action.
