I never thought about getting one of these as my tripod came with screw on short spikes. Those short spikes are not practical as you have to screw them on and off with the rubber spikes that come with better tripods these day.These spikes solve the problem while adding height to your shorter tripods. So far so good.Just make sure you do not lose the small rubber gasket which seals the base from water when you take the rubber feet off.These will stay on my tripod full time. No more ON/OFF with different feet!!
