Manfrotto makes good photo gear. I have bought numerous items over the years that are all of excellent quality. This camera bracket is no exception and is excellent as well. It holds lights and cameras sturdily, safely and without slippage.

A solid tool to add to your camera kit! I was looking for a simple/clean looking solution to create an over head shooting rig. I am a Manfrotto and Nikon supporter and in this situation I extended a Manfrotto Auto Pole above my shooting table, attached a Manfrotto super clamp and then attached the Manfrotto 143 Bracket to the super clamp. Super clean, super solid and super fast and I'm not worried about my Nikon DSLR hanging above my head. Excellent vaule.

This inexpensive camera bracket works well to hold or hang a camera on the extension arm of a C stand. I use it for product photography when shooting straight down at a flat surface. It will also hold the camera at an angle, but the screw clamp doesn't seem strong enough to me to hold a heavy camera for regular use. It works fine for hanging a camera. A better solution is a grip head with a tripod mount, but that is quite a bit more money. This camera bracket works well to get started.

Works well as a lightweight camera plate on an offset arm. Locks down well and well made metal material means it will last a while.

I combined this with the Manfrotto 2 section articulated arm (Manfrotto 196AB-2) so I could make a macro lighting bracket. The posts on the articulating arm fit this bracket perfectly. So I mount the bracket on one post, a Manfrotto Quick-release plate where the camera would be (so I can quickly mount/unmount the camera), and on the other end, I mount my LED light. The reason for the articulating arm is so that I can focus the light where I want or simply fold it in half to save space while traveling. It certainly seems as strong/sturdy as other Manfrotto products and I look forward to using this for awhile!

This is my fourth purchase of this device. Two of these go with two of my Magic Arms. The third goes with my attached to a super clamp for holding my TASCAM recorder, while the latest is used as my DIY Speedlite flash mount bracket that holds a Phottix Odin receiver and Canon 580EXII on top of it (see the product photo above). This device can be used in as many applications as your imagination takes you. Its built quality is tough yet not heavy and should last you a life time of good use. I don't think I'm done with the fourth purchase.
