Does exactly what it's meant for. Holds my flashes for photography. I wouldn't put anything super heavy on it, but then again I haven't tried to test the weight. Does what I need it to do!

Will hold your umbrella pretty steady. The screw that holds it in place isnt very secure. Lost on of mine coming back from a gig- still not sure where it is. But as cheap as they are I could just buy another.
