The reversible hex socket fits over a 1/4-inch magnet-tipped, ball locking hex shaft, and can be quickly reversed to change sizes. Eliminate troublesome buildup of metal shavings in the hex tip with the Easy Clean Magnet. Just swipe with a glove or shop towel to clear any metal shavings. Tested torque of the reversible hex chuck driver design is equal to one-piece drivers.

I’ll keep it short: if you do HVAC, electrical or sheet metal work, just buy a couple. For ladder, lift or bucket work, they’re fantastic.The Malco’s are good; these are better. They work as pretty decent, (not great, like Makita,) but holders, plus fantastic nut drivers.Impact use hasn’t broken them. Color coding is great.Light oil to keep ‘em clean & rust free.What more could you want?Haven’t had any issue losing magnets yet, if I do, I’ll just epoxy it back in

It is great to be able to remove the nut driver socket from the base when you get metal shavings on the magnet.

I’ve had shorter versions of this same concept but was looking for something longer for my application. This works perfect! Great magnet and 5/16 is perfect tight fit on sheet metal self tapping screws. Love the quick cleaning feature, makes my life a lot easier

With the removable tip, it makes it so much easier to clean out metal debris that always gets stuck to the magnet when bit is in your tool bags.

Malco for life, I've been using there bits for years and they are the only once that last more then a week, Malco last me 3 months a bit until the magnet falls out. Im hoping this is 2x a year bit.
