The suction power was as expected, but unfortunately I only got to use it a handful of times. At around the fifth use, it would only stay on for a couple minutes at a time before shutting off. I tried to use it a few more times but eventually it stopped turning on altogether. I even tried using different chargers and cleaning the filter to make sure that wasn’t the issue. I’d expect this quality from a cheaper dust collector but this one wasn’t worth the price. I love all my other Makartt products so this is very disappointing as I have passed the return window. 🙁

Update: customer service did reach out and replaced the unit. I’ve kept it slightly open since receiving the new one and haven’t had any issues in two months. I appreciate the help they’ve provided!I’ve had to diligently not close the filter drawer since I purchased because of the reviews posted here. The unit itself works great but I do upwards of 7 clients a day and need to be able to change and clean the filter. I have tried contacting Amazon customer service as well as the merchant with no help. I just want to see if there’s a way the know how to open it without breaking it or send a replacement. It’s useless at this point not being able to clean it.Would just like some help from customer service at this point. Only used for 4 months.

it's really compact and easier to store compare to others. the suction can be stronger cuz i still find small amount of dust flying outside of the collector

I'm so glad I bought this Nail Dust Vacuum! I started doing my nails at home with PolyGel and an e-file. This creates ALOT of nail dust, and I was worried about all that dust being inhaled (by me, my family, or my asthmatic cat.) I knew I needed one of these, but there were so many to choose from, and after scouring review after review, I decided on the Makartt, and I'm happy to report that it works even better than I imagined.*Convenient - It's wireless, so there are no cords, and you can do your nails anywhere (it comes with a cord to recharge it, of course).*Sound - It's less loud than others, and you can turn it up and down.*Suction - Great suction, and the suction power is fully adjustable.*Value - You don't need to buy replacement filters!
