Good product, comes with a usb c to usb c cable. Decent transfer speed, worked for over 6hrs when I used the enclosure to host a target SSD I was upgrading. Didn’t even get warm after 6hrs.

Bought this to clone my old SSD files to my new one and it worked like a charm. No special software or drivers needed for this device, just plug and play. I will say it does get a bit hot with the metal shell, and its a pretty basic and cheap construction but the aluminum does feel nice. USB C is also good to see here with a USBC to USBA adapter included as well. The biggest functionality downside would be the transfer speed limit, which capped out at 1000gb/s when my drives could handle 3k and 5k respectively so it took a bit longer than necessary but was quick enough for 200gb transfer. If you need something for cloning a drive its great for a one time use, and also will turn my old drive into a portable SSD now too.

Used this for an SSD that I removed from an old laptop. Followed the instructions and had no issues. The rubber "screws" that were included to hold down the drive took a little work to insert, but were not an issue.Once I installed the drive and inserted the USB cable into my new laptop, the drive was recognized immediately and I was able to access it with no issues.As for heat dissiption, I noticed that the enclosure did not get hot even after having it connected for over an hour. I was also able to transfer a 12 GB file in a little over three minutes. So it is pretty fast. Now I have a compact 250 GB flash drive I can put in my pocket.

I was desperate after an water damage in my computer. Water damage services cost at least $300. After search a little, discovered that I could save money and my archives with this... Well it works well. If you are DIY team, it is an amazing tool to have. It is friendly and easy going. After a computer damage, You will save money and have a big size pen drive.

The enclosure is a well built quality product that comes with all the necessary accessories such as transfer cable, thermal pad and plastic anchor for the M2, making it a tool-free enclosure. The metal casing gives a quality feel and helps with heat transfer. The transfer cable included is especially nice because it can handle both USB A and USB C. It does its job well and I can transfer over 500G of photos and videos from my hard disk to M2 in less than half an hour using USB 3.0 connection. I would definitely recommend this enclosure to anyone who is looking to buy one.

I have tried this with SATA III and NVMe M.2 drives (2TB Crucial M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 3, 2TB Transcend SATA III) and it did not work with either of these drives. Stay away, buy something that actually works.

Sad that whoever is manufacturing these doesn't just do something to ensure better quality. It did work the first time but I could tell it was very badly built as it took quite literally 1 hour just to get the PC to read a stick of ram (the most durable part of a pc...)Anyway the second try it did not work and has not worked since and you can just tell its so bad... the card does not even fit right because they messed up the design pretty bad.It really is all so bad and to top it off they are trying to not give me a refund and now i have to spend time fighting a 15 dollar dispute over something that doesn't work period. If you see comments saying it worked I promise you most all of them probably just posted that after the first experience but it wont be working anymore im pretty sure I can tell this was not a defective unit but rather a defective way of making units.

No es el enclosure mas robusto, pero cumple muy bien su función. Incluye su tira de silicon y otra de aluminio para ayudar a disipar el calor. Muy recomendable.
