Overall is texture of paper is good for pastels however in the manufacturing of the paper the edge has bumps as you can see in the photos. I think if that got worked out during processing this would be an excellent pastel paper. I really enjoyed painting on it

Colors show up nice and bright on this dark paper. It has a good feel to it when I’m drawing on it.

I'm new at pastel painting and am trying many brands of paper. I find this gives beautiful results and is so easy to paint on. I'm going to order more! I like it better than Pastel Premier!
