2. Clean the Door and Drum
When washing completed, use a soft, absorbent cloth to dry around the washer door opening, flexible gasket, and door glass. These areas should be cleaned and maintained regularly to ensure a watertight seal. It is a good idea to wipe these down with a dry cloth after every load.
3. Keep Your Washer Empty
Clothes left in the front load washer may be damp. Taking out the clothes helps your washer keep dry and clean. Also, Clean the outside of the washer with a soft, damp cloth. When necessary, clean the exterior surfaces with warm water.

2) Only use the adhesive disc when your washer is not-metal. We suggest that you get the one that hooks to the door if your washer is not-metal.

This little gem has resolved my issues with a smelly washing machine. I have been using it for several months and it allows the tub and seal to dry out on my front loading washing machine. Easy to use and much better than leaving the door hanging open all day!

This is the second type of washing machine door holders I have bought. Better than the last but still not great. It does not sit flat against the door so its ability to magnetize to the door is very weak.

This worked great on my Samsung front load washer to keep the door open a little bit. This allows the moisture to evaporate and prevent musky odors and prevent mold on the door seal. I chose the gray color to match the plastic on the inside of my door. They included 3 self-adhesive metal discs to stick on the plastic surface so the magnet can do its work. I am glad I bought this to hold my washer door open without the door being all out in the walkway.

I just got a new LG wash tower and a few of my friends have the front loaders and they say they start to smell musty so I saw this and thought I would try it out and it works like a gem It doesn't leave the door open so much that people bang into it and nobody can accidentally push it shut The magnets are very strong for such a little product it does wonders. Great value for the price.

This tool opens the door wider to allow better ventilation. We all know that the LG washers have a built-in magnet already and if you swing the door to the almost closed position it stays in that position, but only gives you about half an inch opening. I needed more ventilation so I bought this, so there’s a few more inches where air can circulate in the washer and dry it out quicker as I am in humid environment. Works great. It does its job if you need more air circulation after washing your clothes to dry out the washer buy this.
