I don't know where these socket rails have been all my life. Or I don't know how I got by without them they make organizing so much easier. You can use these for deep well sockets only if you mount them vertical (up & down), they won't hold the deep sockets if you mount them horizontal (right to left)Beautiful aluminum rails that are customizable. Plan on getting more.

It does hold your sockets securely.

I don't know which I like more -- that I can find a socket instantly whatever I need -- bolt, Torx, hex, female, male, you name it -- or that a friend came over and practically drooled when he saw how easily I could access them (made me feel a lot smarter than I am, which is always a good feeling). Anyway, the best part is you can switch up the holders in each row and put some 3/8" holders alongside 1/4" holders so you can line up all your "same" socket styles in the same rows. Makes life easy -- and so convenient to get the socket you need and continue working uninterrupted instead of having to stop and search through everything for a certain socket. A couple of the 1/4" holders are a little tight, but I find all the others are easy to pick and pull.

Giving it four stars because the magnet on the back could be better.

This socket organizer is a tool I bought for my husband to tidy up the garage, it is very beautiful, but the magnetic properties of this organizer are too weak, not like the super magnetic properties introduced by the seller. Even if a socket is not fully filled with tools and it is sucked on the tool car, it will slide down and cannot be sucked at all. I try to put no tools on it, but it still has a weak magnetic attraction. It didn't do anything.

I ordered several of these, I absolutely love them. They have a strong enough magnet even for my axle nut socket set (30-36MM impact/deep). Sockets come off and on easily and they look great. A big fan, especially for the price.

These are fantastic. They look great and work well. However I wouldn’t put too much stock in them holding sideways or upside down as the claim. But for the correct orientation , they stay put except when you get the 1/2 inch, as those are a bit tight. The best part is that if you want to take the entire rail with you, you just tilt the set and off you go. Then you can stick them to the car or another steel bench. And they are beautiful to look at! I don’t know about longevity, but if I have any issues I’ll update the review.100% recommend.

Over the years, I accumulated a collection of individual sockets, extensions, universal joints, size adapters and more. They ended up taking up an increasing amount of space in the tray of my vintage Craftsman toolbox tray (that has nice provisions for Craftsman socket sets) -- crowding out the space for my ratchet wrench handles, vice grips and other turning tools.I evaluated a number of strips to hold socket sets and the collections of odd items. Moved a set of metric sockets that came on their own strip, but lacked spare posts to add more sockets in the range, to the 3/8" strip from the set and borrowed a 1/2" from the other. Moved my deep 1/4" set from a difficult to manipulate all metal strip. Filled the1/2" strip and a separately purchased 3/8" strip with the accumulated mix of 'bought for this project' sockets and such. Looks like I will need another 1/2" strip for 'another project' sized sockets.I definitely like the way the posts can be added, subtracted and mixed per strip as well as twisted to align the socket markings after they are on the posts. The only thing that could be better is if the company sold sets of loose posts so that I could further customize the mix.Still working on how and where to store these fully, weighty, loaded strips to keep them handy. I'm thinking more likely to hang based on the weight, or figure out where can mount a thicker steel plate to use the magnetic base.
