These are great and at a great price. They hold sockets. I can flip it upside down and they won’t fall out. The rails are plastic. I also own more expensive socket rails made from aluminum (Ares, ABN, Olsa, Neiko, Capri, and Performance Tool are all the same). These are so much cheaper than those aluminum rails, and I haven’t seen the value of the aluminum yet. The plastic clips that come with the aluminum versions seem to be slightly higher quality though. They might be more robust, but I can’t say because I haven’t had any failures (yet). I have only used these lightly as a DIY’er. If you put them through professional use, you might have different experience. For me, I’d rather buy these over and over than buy the aluminum versions again. The plastic rails are also easier to cut to length compared to the aluminum rails.

I was honestly a bit skeptical of plastic socket holders, but I've found that some of the more inexpensive metal ones can sometimes be a bit clunky and hard to pry the sockets off of.These have been working great so far.The good:- Sockets fit snug- Removing sockets is easy, but not so easy that they fall off- The plastic rails and clips are surprisingly sturdy- The variety of sizes and color-coding make them very handy to useThe bad(ish):- End caps can come off and clips can slide off. They hold fairly well, but one popped off when I dropped it.- I get the sense that repeated use will eventually loosen the grip of the clips. This has more to do with them being plastic than being poorly made.Overall, I think this is a fantastic value and I really don't consider the "bad" to be anything close to deal-breaking. I just thought it's important to be objective.

I purchased these organizers not knowing what exactly they’d be like in person. They looked decent in pictures, but wasn’t positive they’d be a good set. These came in and I began setting up my sockets on them… they are sooo smooth when they engage the sockets! They have a very positive engagement and look really sharp as well. I also was thrilled with the units not costing a fortune. I will absolutely buy more!

The socket holders are very helpful for organizing and storing my multitude of sockets. The quality is just OK, but they work well. The ABS plastic feels very solid in hand but did break a couple of the 1/4 sliders due to a weird socket shape incompatibility. That one socket had a uniquely styled bottom that seemed to cause pressure at a particular joint, which would then crack and break away. I feel most of the blame lie on that particular socket, but some of it also lies with the quality of the plastic. Overall these are pretty good and I love how holders many came in the kit.

Works really well. It's easy to remove and return my sockets with a solid click. The plastic seems sturdy enough and the availability of colors make it easier identify my socket sets.
