I had about 400 slides I wanted to convert to digital. This little scanner does one slide at a time. It worked for what I wanted it to, but if you have many slides, it will be extremely time-consuming. Also, the slide holder and other film holders are pretty flimsy. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars so got what I paid for.

Used it for transferring slides to computer so my photo printer would print them.

My intent is to use this device to go through a treasure trove of negatives I discovered in a couple of shoe boxes and some found in my Mother's things after she died. Purchasing this unit has a much better cost/benefit compared to getting a bunch of prints made of negatives of people I'm not sure I actually want to invest in. I'm dealing with mainly 35mm film. I have been very impressed with the pictures I'm seeing in the machine. I'm using an SD Card (which I recommend you use) to make downloading the pictures to my computer very easy. I also like the ability to do do color adjustments in the unit. I would buy it again, no regrets.

Very easy to use, photos appear very dark. I wish I would have just bought the one that loads digital photos to my phone. Grand kids love it, they think it’s a toy!

Warning: 35mm adapter does not work with 3.5mm thick plastic re-usable slide mounts (standard in UK for many years). It only works for the thin cardboard mounted 35mm slides common in USA.

I'm very angry. I just spent a few hours scanning a few hundreds of beautiful old 35mm negatives by this scanner. The results are TERRIBLE.While technically, the images are "22MP" (they are 5728x3824 pixels =21.9 million pixels), this number does not represent the sensor resolution in any meaningful way.The images look like they were scanned AT MOST by a 400x600 pixel scanner and then stretched to the specified pixel resolution to satisfy the described product.SHAME ON YOU "Magnasonic"!When a customer buys a 22MP scanner, they expect it to produce 22MP scans of their pictures. This unrecognizably smeared mess wastes the customer's money, time and effort.I do NOT recommend this product in any way shape or form. Please don't buy it. Save your time.I am attaching a picture of buffalo in Yellowstone. The original is a beautiful analog picture that has a ton of detail. You be the judge of the resulting scan. Zoom into the trees and the buffalo.

Most popular film types supported. If you've got razor sharp negatives/ slides this is the little gadget you want. Unfortunately, I discovered that I shot a lot of poorly focused film. But the ones I focused well scanned perfectly. I've always wanted an inexpensive way to digitize all my old film. For what this device does, it's an excellent bargain. I spent all last night scanning ages old film. 35mm, 110, both monochrome & color. Still learning to balance the color, but this is a very capable little scanner. I highly recommend it.

This unit is a reasonably priced digitizer for your slide conversion project. It’s simple but makes vey nice digital files of your slides. The screen size is small, but I was happily surprised by the quality of files. I quickly converted all my slides and the unit and easily uploaded to my computer. You can always tweak the files more once on your computer.

This device is easy to use and will capture images from negatives very quickly. It is easy to transfer the images to a PC or laptop. The image quality is fair. I expected better image quality but this device, like similarly priced competitors, does not truly scan the negative. Rather, it uses a CMOS sensor to essentially take a digital photo of it, and the image may look like a medium quality digital photo. For those wanting to take a highly detailed scan of negatives, a different type of device is needed, such as a Plustek. Those devices will cost hundreds of dollars more, however, and are more difficult to use.

Easy to use. Due to.the fact that the negative were 60 to 70 years old and younger there was some discoloration but we have started to scan all of the inherited negatives and download to a San disk, to eventually add to thumb drives for family distribution union. Nice little gadget.

I like that we were able to see what was on our old film and to save it to an SD card. It is easy to use. Our images are very bleached out. The color is pale and the clarity is not great, I think it has a lot to do with the film being 40 years old, and not well stored. Otherwise it was a great buy.
