I purchased this as an upgrade from the 2015 version. I found that some features had been removed and some were non functional. I contacted customer support (Miami, FL) and spoke with a person named Eric. He did not have any product knowledge of any kind nor did not seem to know much about the company. Seemed like a contract employee. Good Customer Service was not his specialty. I then called technical support, was put into a phone cue for about 45 seconds and then a message comes and says that their phone lines are too busy and it hangs up on me. Real Nice !! I then called the headquarters in Germany, pressed button to speak with a sales representative, was re-directed to support and then hung up again stating their phone lines were too busy. There is no way to talk to anybody at MAGIX, It seems they are dead to the world and the customer is the last thing they care about. To add insult to injury, you can not even send an e-mail to Tech Support with out first purchasing a Support Voucher for $12.99. After 10 years of using MAGIX Software Products, this is the last for me, companies that do not take Customer Service Seriously do not deserve my business. Look elsewhere for Good Music Editing Software, as MAGIX is just stripping down their software and giving you less for more $ and obviously do not want to help with any of it.

good software and it has awesome sounds. I always love the Vita sounds.Plug-ins manager, needs to do just that manage your plug-ins. in some ways it does but it needs work.for example, if you downloaded a plug-in that not activated, you can load it but no preview, until its activated. I don't know about you, but I like to see or hear what I'm about to purchase. the effects plug-ins work great, master suite and all. FYI, they should create a way for people like me who try the prosumer version to upgrade to the pro version like Cubase and others do.right now Magix offer me no credit to upgrade to pro x3, if they did, I would.

I have an earlier version of Samplitude Music Studio. Outstanding audio quality.I upgraded to the regular Samplitude Pro Suite.But now this 2017 version comes with many of the synths and vintage analog modeling plugins of the more expensive suite for the fantastic price of the Music Studio. This is the best DAW at this price period. If you have talent you can make world class recording with this software.
