First of all I'd say it deserves more 4 stars than 5, but seen the several unfair "1-star" reviews, it deserves some compensation.I bought MMM2017 from the actual Magix website rather than Amazon, and never had any real problems with it. I think the people having so many crashes on their system are doing something wrong somewhere. I perhaps had a couple of crashes sometimes, but they are very rare.For the rest it's pretty much what it advertizes.

This is the first time I've ever given a 1 star review. But people have to know that this software will crash more and more often the more you use it. Especially after making your own tunes. I've used 3 different versions of MMM on windows xp and windows 7 and they all crashed constantly. And I have OCD when it comes to computer software hygiene. What's even worse is that whenever I see Magix reply to someone mentioning these issues on steam, they always come across as if this was a new problem. This problem has been there at least since 2010 and I'm sad to see that they haven't fixed it yet.

DO NOT BUY THIS !!!! It crashes all the time. Not my system (run pro-tools no problems). Software is JUNK. Save your money.

I have had the software for about a month now and I have thoroughly enjoyed tinkering around with it. I feel very inexperienced when it comes to using software like this and it was a bit frustrating at first, but most questions I had were answered by finding tutorials on YouTube. I am still learning as I go but I have definitely enjoyed it.Some other reviews talked about the software crashing suddenly. I too have had this issue but it seems to only happen when I make too many clicks in too short of a time. But when I have some patience with the program it usually runs just fine for me. So, not gonna say it won't crash, but I will say it doesn't crash every 10 seconds like others seem to want you to think.Buying this through Amazon Digital is definitely worth the price, it's much cheaper than going through Magix's website.

This product is always in testing phase every they create the same program with different names . This year they raised the price used to cost 100 now its been 129 . not worth it

This Program has way too many system crashes for the price. It made my system crash over 12 times after download it. Seems the updates are not working together with the software and may miss a few files. I have a studio version computer. I had older versions that worked better. Even with a computer way over minimum spec required it continued to crash. Downloads for extra sounds seemed limited. Very disappointed as this software program when it first came out seemed to be the best version, seemed it's been tweeked way too much and ruined it. I've been in the music biz for over 20 yrs. :( It's been over 1 month since I've had this and it crashes every single day. I'm starting to believe they are crashing my music so they can upload my tracks. very upset at this purchase.

Awesome software. Exceeded my expectations even after listening/watching it in action on Youtube.My machine specs:HP LaptopAMD A8 @ 2.2 GHZ16 gig DDR3LWindows 10 Home 641 tb HDI'm new to this software but in watching videos on Youtube I learned pretty quick.The user interface is easy to understand. You may be overwhelmed by how many settings you can play with.Big sound.... be sure and have good headphones/speakers.And no, this software does not crash. At least it hasn't crashed on me.When I installed, there was a patch for it. (10/16/2016)Any technical information about this product can be found on the Magix website.
