The product comes in a roll consisting of mesh and plastic adhering to the mesh. The problem is that when you peel the plastic off a segment of mesh there is no adhesive, so the mesh will not stick to the surface to be patched. Seems as though there should be a something like double-sided tape where you peel off a protective layer to expose the adhesive. As it is, completely unusable. Returned for refund and order Ordered the same product made by a different manufacturer, LYNPO. Easy to use and the layer covering the adhesive peeled off easily as expected. Might have just been a quality control failure with Magic Mesh, but highly recommend LYNPO to repair screens.

I've been putting off getting my sliding glass screen door repaired because at some point I'm going to replace the door. Almost the whole bottom of the screen is torn so I've been taping it with masking tape (lovely, I know) but no one really sees it but me. Regardless, it doesn't work and I just end up wasting tape. So, I decided to try the Mesh Screen Repair Tape and I LOVE it!! It works exactly as stated.

Really great product. The stick is very strong and I can now use my window again. The people who said it doesn’t stick probably did not peel the film off the sticky side and just tried putting the screen side on the window. I admit I did this at first and went to YouTube to figure out there is a film you have to peel off the plastic side to get it to stick. 😂

It was very challenging to get the backing separated from the screen. I am also noticing that it did not adhere well, especially on a piece I cut to cover a large area. Had high hopes this would be a good solution to our rental house whose screens all had some form of holes in them. I keep trying to rerub the patches to help them stick better but next time i look they have pealed back again.

Sticks well and easy to cut. My dog constantly snags her nails on the screen and this stuff is a quick fix to prevent her from making the the holes larger and keeping flies out. You do see the tape, but I expected that since it is black. Some reviewers mentioned that they can’t get the sticky backing off of the tape and My guess is that they may have cut the mesh tape and plastic peel-off backing evenly. I recommend keeping an extra few inches of the plastic backing longer than the actual mesh tape- refer to my pic. This will make it easy to separate the mesh tape from the backing when you are ready to use it.
