Just a simple plile of thin plastic that will not last.

This product is perhaps the most overpriced item I have ever experienced. It is flimsy, poorly engineered, inconvenient (understatement here), and will ruin your macro photography session by constantly moving or falling off the camera. Better use a tripod because using this contraption does not allow you to even set the camera down on a table in between shot. During assembly the diffusers inevitably become kinked (permanently) due to the poorly thought-out assembly sequence which requires three hands. I might not be nearly as upset if this thing were priced appropriately, but I spent over $80 for what I thought would be a professional grade macro flash diffuser and instead received this toy grade junk. Highly recommend looking for another option. I am now using a simple soft box diffuser purchased here for less than $20 which while not perfect for macro, performs as well as this fail and is priced fairly. AVOID!

No clue how to put this together, it came with no instructions, and the construction video on the store page is of a different product altogether

No assembly instructions. Once assembled this is a good unit. I wish it had strap to hold it to the camera. The flash strap does okay but a second attachment strap would be a benefit. A bit pricey for what you get. Heavy to the point your flash will flap straight to 90 degrees as you walk, that is why another tether strap would help.

Well I was excited to get a macro flashed diffuser in this style for a little bit cheaper. And to no surprise at all, a product I ordered from Amazon came with no instructions and missing parts. I managed to put it together and needless to say it requires you to put these cheap sticky velcro pads on your flash that costs hundreds of dollars. I guess the only thing I was actually surprised about is the plastic seems to be decently thick and has some quality snaps. But to be honest with you if I could start over I probably would just pay full price for the original diffuser in this style. If you are a professional photographer I would say stick with the original.

How in the world do you expect anyone to assemble something with no photos or instructions? This is a complete waste of money!
