I am not sure what others reviews state, but I love this pan. It just works and you don't need a lot of oil. I cook a few items together and just alter the time accordingly. It takes a few times to learn timing, but even that is of no consequence. I may buy the square one next to give more cooking area.

This thing really works! I was able to fry ground beef for spaghetti sauce in it. I washed it with a sponge and a little Dawn dish detergent. It's small but held 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef with room to spare. The bottom gets very hot and the lid keeps the heat in, cooking the top of the food, just slower. There's three little steam holes that I also used to drain grease, but that was tricky. It's light weight but not flimsy. I really love it.

I've used it on many things. I originally bought it to make "fried" things like fish sticks and chicken nugs. It didn't work too great for that, but man can it make a little roast (cut up into chunks to fit the pan) and steak and chicken in record time. It will even do a good job on frozen meats. The meats were not dry and were cooked all the way through.Preheating is mandatory - skip this step at your own peril!

I first bought the larger pan but I ordered this because I wanted to grill chicken and steak. I like the pan for its size and food does not stick which makes for easy cleanup. However since cooking with it is a trial and error situation. A recipe book would be nice.

This cooks very well. So far I've used it for grilled cheese which is perfect, and an omelette which was okay. The only issue is the scent it makes is very strong. It has me a bit worried it's non stick coating is slowly coming off into the food and air.

I have had this for about 4 months. It works so well that I use it everyday. I have perfected cooking steak to medium and potstickers that are brown on one side and steamed on the other side. I brown vegetables, cook fish, and sizzle bacon. I love this thing....maybe too much. It started sparking in one spot around the rim. I didn't want to give it up so I just kept using it while staying close by to keep an eye on it. Sadly today I saw flames so I have to throw it away. I wish it cost less because I love it so much I plan to buy it again. I tried a cheaper microwave crisper and ended up returning it because it did not brown my food. Unfortunately for me, I will be spending the money to buy another one cause it's great till it catches fire.

One year ago I bought the Maconee Microwave Sandwich maker. Used it once for a grilled cheese and wasn't happy with the results and hadn't used it since. When I saw this covered pot, I tried again, but this time I read the instructions. The pot (w/o lid or oil must be heated in the mw for 2 minutes first. So fortunately I hadn't thrown out the sandwich maker and tried again. It produced two sizzling halved hot dogs. Juicy and perfect.Today I made 4 different batches of chicken thighs using 4 different pcs of eqpt: a stand alone air fryer, an Instant pot air fryer, using the Ina Garten fried chicken recipe for stove and oven, and the Maconee. The 2 pcs of boneless thighs using this Microwave Frying Pan Skillet were the easiest and the quickest, fully cooked in 6 minutes - probably would have been finished in 5 minutes but I didn't get back to them quickly enough. Sensational except for the price. If they ever come down in price, I'll get another.

This pot is attractive, light in weight, and easy to clean. It also cooks fast and well. I purchased this pot based on a great part on the glowing reviews by previous buyers. However, it has one serious flaw, which I believe should come with a mandatory warning to consumers. It overheats the interior of the microwave to a dangerously high degree. I cooked chicken fingers and a hamburger. Both for three minutes high (1000 w) on both sides. The microwave shut down after four minutes. I thought it was a fuse at first. For the first time, I ever used this microwave, which is about six years old, it shut itself down due to overheating. The microwave was so hot I was afraid it would catch fire. I could not even touch the exterior of the microwave without getting burned. The pot itself also gets hot but not as hot as the microwave itself. I am not a physicist so I don't understand what is causing the oven to overheat even hotter than the pot. I contacted Maconee at their support email address to find out if they knew of a way to avoid this issue. After waiting eight days I still have received no response about the overheating issue. I am afraid to continue to use the product although I would like to.
