Fast, Easy to use and clean. Since I live alone it's so much easier to cook eggs this way then have to get the skillet out.

Sort-of works, but more trouble than its worth. You have to pre-heat in the microwave and then cook with lid on (which also needs subsequent cleaning)

Works perfectly; you have to decide how done you want your egg. In my pictures, I wanted it fully cooked, so I did two minutes. But if I wanted the yellow runny, I'd only have done one minute or less. Still working on the perfect timing of it but for the first time the eggs turned out perfect. I also love the perfectly round eggs; something about the symmetry just made them taste better.

I was very excited about using this product, as I enjoy poached eggs and thought it would save me some cleanup from the traditional cooking of poached eggs. After the first use, my microwave started sparking. And continued to spark with anything I tried to heat up in it. I thought I might just need to clean it. After cleaning it and my microwave, I tried it again and my microwave caught on fire and is destroyed.I would not recommend to anyone that is not ready to purchase a new microwave!!!

My wife does the "real" cooking and i make our breakfast most days using the microwave. This gadget delivers what it promises and the neat round fried eggs can be excellent. You will need to experiment a bit with cooking times, but follow directions and it should work well. The one add thing that I experience is that running the microwave with just the Maconee device in it, can cause the microwave to stop "microwaving." It will still run the blower and turn the turntable, but it stops cooking. I can't feel where anything in the microwave is caused to get hot but it it cuts off after 2 minutes of warming and about another 2 minutes of cooking. If I set a coffee cup of water in the microwave with the Maconee, the microwave won't do this but the cup of water does absorb some of the microwave energy, causing the cooking to take longer. I am still experimenting because I want this gadget to work for me, but I have to note these odd results.

Does a good job with eggs. But, the recommended preheating and oiling make the prep more difficult than direct egg microwaving with low power and a tiny yolk prick (to prevent bursting) directly in a glass or microwave-safe plastic dish. Doing small sausage patties also worked, but the closed container accumulated liquids that had to be dumped midway when doing the flip, per instructions. The Maconee devices work by converting microwaves to cooking heat in semi-metallic containers, rather than by direct interaction of microwaves with food. As a result, there is a tradeoff of this feature against the advantages of other technology like moisture sensors and variable power control to optimize microwave cooking. That said, I got excellent eggs & sausages for English muffin breakfast sandwiches out of the little thing.

I eat 2 eggs every day with my breakfast. I've purchased and tried various skillets, griddles, and appliances to make the eggs. I bought this Microwave Egg Cooker because it sounded like it might work. I was very pleasantly surprised at how easily and quickly I can cook my eggs!! I preheat the bottom in the microwave for 3 minutes as instructed, and then break the two eggs into the pan, pierce the yolks, cover with the lid, and cook the eggs 3 minutes. The instructions don't say this, but I get better results when I flip the eggs after 2 minutes. These are perfect on toast (chaffles, in my case). The best part is the clean up -- there isn't any. I just rinse it off and dry it with a clean paper towel. My only advice: Be careful, the cooker gets VERY hot -- use hot pads to remove it from the microwave.
