Great mixer that pairs nicely with mackie 18” Thump Speakers for outdoor music. Purchased a 15” Thump to use as a stage monitor as well. FX are easily adjustable for the perfect sound. Highly recommended!

Decidí comprarme ésta mezcladora después de ver muchas reseñas en videos y compararlas con las otras marcas que le hacen competencia y fue la mejor elección. Es una mezcladora que lo tiene todo y es totalmente compatible con GNU+Linux (es plug-n-play, conecta y está lista para usar sin instalar ningún controlador a diferencia de Windows). Soy DJ y me ha servido como interfaz de audio para enviar mi mezcla principal (audio máster) a la mezcladora en los canales 7/8 que llegan por el cable USB-C en los tracks 3/4 de la PC, mientras que mi sonido de monitoreo llega también por USB en los tracks 1/2, accesible con la perilla BLEND (girado completamente a la derecha), al mismo tiempo que tengo conectados otras fuentes de audio como micrófonos (para armar el karaoke, con efectos geniales) y hasta mi celular con el Bluetooth para musica de respaldo y me ha funcionado perfectamente bien. Estoy impresionado y encantado con su calidad de audio, construcción, materiales, practicidad y cantidad de opciones y características que no encontrarás en ninguna otra consola de línea/tamaño similar.

I bought this to replace an old Roland VS2480 DAW that I've been using as a mixer for my home studio. This Mackie ProFX12v3+ mixer doesn't seem to color the sounds I'm used to hearing. It's super quiet, just as quiet as the 2480. I mostly play guitar (elec, acous, classical) and for my electrics I use a Fractal FM3 modeler directly into the 9/10 stereo channel. It's really great to have stereo channels and the BT channel as well. The rest of my system is a piar of 80's NS10 speakers, a nice little Crown D60 amp and an Infinity 12 inch down angled subwoofer to help balance out the lowend. I've worked hard to get my sounds and this mixer is welcomed addition to process and my home studio.

Have a larger Mackie that is still going strong after 12 years, but I wanted to add a side mixer that can connect to Pro Tools and Logic Pro. Excellent sound quality and built as well as the older model.

I was impressed with this unit right out of the box. It feels sturdy and well put together. I tested every single input and output, as I was teaching myself the Mackie routing matrix and everything worked as it should. The effects sound very good and there’s a respectable number of them. Note that you also have inserts if you need to stack or bring in others to any available channel.Full disclosure: I actually returned this particular unit and upgraded to the Fx16. Not due to any fault in the product. I just wanted the capability of separate monitor mixes. The Fx12 has only one monitor out jack and the Sub outs are independent of the channel aux gain settings. So … this require daisy chaining multiple monitors, which will all have the same exact mix. That configuration works perfectly well in a lot of stage situations, but I wanted a little more power.So for a small, very affordable mix top, I think this will do nicely.

I bought this because it was the best option I could find for a very specific use-case. I do a lot of VOIP and video calls for work but I'm also a bit of an audiophile. I wanted to keep the zero latency monitoring I had gotten used to from my audio interface. I was upgrading my headphones, DAC, and amp at the same time and knew I was after a balanced system.This was the best budget option that met all that criteria. It has balanced TRS input for my DAC to connect, it has a simple 3.5mm aux for my interface's monitoring output, and a set of balanced XLR outputs to connect my DAC. This worked perfectly, and the individual volume control per channel is definitely welcome. My particular use did not need the microphone pre-amps, but I did test them out and they are outstanding. The effects are also very good. I considered buying a second unit to use as my interface, but it wasn't in my budget.The headphone or monitoring amp isn't great, but I don't need it to be. It gets noticeable hiss, for me, after around 50% gain on the monitoring output. It does everything I need it to, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who just needs to mix a few different sources together.

I have owned a few Mackie mixers over the years, from the VLZ workhorses to the ProFX series V2. The only problem I had was using one for home recording. They had to sit in front of my Lexicon audio interface adding more noise. I wanted to use the Mackie preamps and eq going directly in, not just eq it in the software. (note: the v2 series have USB available on the 8 channel and up but monitoring with headset is not easy to do on those when recording)This new ProFX10 v3 series does it SO well. The channels are dead silent for perfect quiet passages like acoustic guitar and vocals. The 3-Band eq is very nice sounding and the compressor is a nice touch to have added. I can really hear the difference in the new GIGFX effects, plus there are more of them! The Onyx mic pre's with 60db of gain let you record with almost anything you plug in. I recorded a few vocal tracks with my old SM58 for testing and it sounded amazing.For me the main reason I switched to this new v3 model is the monitoring ability while tracking. They built in a "blend" circuit and knob to allow you to record a new track while a previously recorded track is playing back, just like in a "real" studio. The blend knob lets you hear exactly how much of your live recording you want in your headset and how much of the recorded track playback you want. There's also a separate "control room" volume knob for studio speaker monitoring.Finally, on this model (as well as the ProFX6) they have gone with level knobs instead of sliding faders. I personally never liked sliding faders on small boards, they are hard to fine tune while sitting at a desk. Plus they collect dirt much easier. This also makes this 10 channel mixer very compact on the desk! (I'm looking forward to taking this out to mix a live show too)Highly recommended!
